Dawn of the Final Final Day: 24 hrs remaining

Samus was amazed she got any sleep last night & thankfully had gotten up early. Today was it. She had exactly 24 hours to save this world before it's destroyed. So you know...no presser or anything. Actually, come to think about it, this was a frighting concept for her to think about herself. There were very few times Samus felt her own mortality, the worst of course was when she was 3. And knowing her connection with the metroids still out there, she had a feeling this wouldn't be the last time. Still now more than ever was not the time to lose her nerve.

She had to be strong, especially because unlike others....she could actually do something about this. A good step forward is to make sure her close friends are taken care of first. Say what you want about them, her bunny & and owl mask has made for some really good fast travel for her.

"Samus...I'm scared. There's not much time left." Cremia says to her.

"I know. If I'm honest, I'm scared too. It's gonna be a close one but...we have to have faith. I promise, I will do everything in my power to save your home." She swears.

"I know I shouldn't judge just by appearance, especially after everything but...before when I first saw you in your armor...I was willing to believe anything but..." Her voice trails off.

Samus sighs with a nod, "I know, it's been a big set back. But I've been doing fine without it. I've had setbacks and life threatening short time frames before, I'll figure it out. I always do. There's more to me than just a suit. Right now you need to get ready & take care of yourself."

"Okay...what should I do?" The farm girl asks, trying to steady herself.

"Have Romani stay with the ship where it'll be safe. Take only what you need with you. You may have to abandon your cattle to make room for others." Samus explains.

Cremia looked rather hurt, she hadn't even considered that but it made sense, "Okay..."

Samus placed a firm hand on her arm, "Cremia, people get scared & desperate during a crisis. I need you to be strong, make them listen. Don't let them bully you into ruining the only chance this place has left."

She took a heavy sigh before trying to calm herself, "I'll do my best. If I may ask...why are you doing this? You didn't have to come here, you don't even have to stay. You're risking so much for practically strangers."

Little Samus sighs, again gazing at her buster arm tightening into a fist as she closes her eyes, "After what's happened to me, I'm too involved now. I challenged that Imp to play his game, & now I'm committed to finishing it. Besides, I lost my home once too. I was only 3...and it was only by the kindness of another that I was given a 2nd chance. I swore that I would never again let what happened to me happen to anyone else."

Samus headed back out to Ikana Canyon as there was one last thing she had to do there. If it weren't for the fact that she was super busy last night, she could have done it sooner. According to Link's Journal, there's a music box house there that he had taken some notes on. Provided that the area was clear, a little girl in a red dress with freckles, green socks & brown hair, eyes & shoes, lives there. She seemed to be very sad and living alone. Though as to why Link wasn't sure. She also seems very weary of strangers as he tried several times to speak to her as friendly as he could be but always seemed to be frightened of him. The monsters like the cursed Gibdo Mummies, naturally didn't help either. No surprise as they do have a curse upon them. The only positive motion is when there has been rain & water to get the house to run & play the music via a water wheel, the Gibdos in the area freak out and vanish back into the ground.
