MONDAY

"Does everyone have their quill out?" Professor Trelawney asked. Everyone nodded their heads. I took my quill and swirled it around in the ink playfully. Today was my divination O.W.L and I was already bored. The test hasn't even started yet! But i'm not too stressed about this one, I know what I'm doing. This class is easy peasy!

**

"POOR??" I shouted as my test was handed back to me. How could I have gotten poor? I have always been so great in this class. I'm never behind, I'm always ahead actually. I would help students study specifically for this class!

"Professor Trelawney.. There must have been a mix up in tests. You see, my grades have always been extraordinary in this class. It is one of my easiest, in fact. So.. there is no way possible I could have done.. Poor."

"Let me have a look." She took the paper from my hand and quickly studied over it. She was humming and tapping her fingers on the desk. "Ah ha!" She picked up her grading quill and fixed up an answer that was wrong before.

"So?"

"I accidentally marked the correct one wrong, meaning that's five more points."

"Which leaves me at..."

"Leaves you at poor! 5 points wasn't going to do much, darling. Maybe you should have done some more studying."

"Impossible. I study this class every day for at least an hour per night! You know me, I always have great scores here!"

"I'm sorry, the score is in." Trelawney said. "Surely there's something that can be done---like retaking the test!" Which has to be an option. Most of the time we can retake them, so why would this be any different.

"No. Administration says no retakes. You just have to accept it, It's your first O.W.L don't worry too much. These count the least."

I took my paper and shoved it into my bag and stormed out of class. I still don't understand how I could get that low, if you were to ask me anything about divination I could answer right away!

"How was it? Your first O.W.L" Fred tapped me on the shoulder as I sat down at our table for lunch. Today we were having pasta and vegetables. Not my favorite but I was starving. "Absolutely shitty."

"Shitty? Why shitty?" George leaned his head over Fred and in towards me. "I got poor in divination."

"What?! How did you get poor?" Fred asked

"Yeah--isn't that your best subject?" George asked while he took a big bite of pasta.

"It was. I study every single night and I always get exceeding grades in that class, I'm not sure what happened." I took a deep breath and crossed my arms on the table. "Anyways, how was the O.W.L.S for you guys?"

"Lame honestly, but I did get exceeds expectations in care of magical creatures." Fred said proudly. "As well as I did." George followed.

"Ron, you've been quiet. What about you?"

"What were we talking about?" Ron had a blank look on his face. He seemed dull or upset, maybe he didn't do well on his O.W.L.S.

"Oh, about our test scores." I said

" I think I did fine, I can't remember."

"Is everything alright?"

"Yeah just a rough morning. Wrong side of the bed." He said with uncertainty in his voice. I know him and I know when he's lying, and this is one of these times. "Don't lie, Ronald." George said
