"I hate it here" I complained as I walked around Derek's loft. we'd been stuck here for three weeks now. Eryn was now roughly two months old. she was the only good thing about Derek's loft. It was old and had creeky floors, which caused me a lot of unease. Plus Derek was now super overprotective, despite us not being a thing. it was honestly just so annoying. But Eryn loved it.

"Well, its not safe at your place..." Derek said as he rocked Eryn shushing her. Eryn was being fussy. she whined and swatted his hands away and whined. she let out a cry and kicked her legs. I walked over and picked her up holding her. she calmed down and held onto my shirt. I gently rocked her and shushed her humming. I smiled at her and kissed her forehead. Derek pouted slightly and sat down on his couch.

"that just hurts" He said and frowned. I rolled my eyes at him and sat down in a chair. I held Eryn close and checked her. she was content, just wanting to be near me. I hummed and kissed her forehead.

"so...uh... do you want to go out some time?" Derek asked watching me. I looked at him as my smile faded.

"I... I can't leave Eryn with anyone.... They might hurt he-"

"then we can bring her" he said and smiled softly at him. I looked at him and smiled slightly nodding.

"okay then..." I said and smiled. He thought then got up

"Get changed into a swim suit. Eryn has swimming diapers, a swim suit, and stuff she needs" Derek said snd smiled softly at me. I nodded slowly and smiled.

"Okay...." I said a bit nervous.

"I'll go get changed" I said snd got up. I carried Eryn up to my room and sighed. I set her down and shushed her. She fought it and kicked her legs pouting. I got her changed and chuckled softly. I kissed her forehead snd held her. I then got myself changed and frowned a bit. I pulled on a shirt hiding a bit of the extra baby weight I had. I sighed and shook my head. I picked up Eryn and held her.

"Hi baby girl" I kissed her forehead. She laid her head on my shoulder and shut her eyes. I chuckled softly and rubbed her back. I walked down to Derek and smiled sheepishly.

"We're both ready"' I said softly. Derek nodded. He was shirtless wearing some shorts. I smiled slightly snd looked away. Derek rubbed my back as he lead the way to his car. He had a bag in his other hand. He smiled at me and hummed softly.

"We're going to a pool designed for families with babies" he said softly. I nodded and smiled a bit sheepishly. I held Eryn and kissed her forhead.

"Okay" I said softly. I her close. She made noises and giggled. I chuckled softly

"Are you a happy baby girl?" I asked her as she continued to giggle. She smiled and sucked on her pacifier. I got her into her car seat and then sat in the passenger seat. Derek got in and started driving. I sat back and shut my eyes. Derek smiled softly and drove. He held my hand which caused me to blush a bit.

"You're cute when you blush" he said softly. I leaned back and blushed more shaking his head. Derek laughed softly and drove. I kept my eyes shut until I felt Derek stop the car. I then looked around. We were at a building that was rather new. I got out with Derek. I got Eryn out. She was pouting when I picked her up. I chuckled softly snd kissed her forehead.

"Sourwolf, your daughter is pouting" he said softly. I held Eryn and smiled softly. Derek chuckled and lead me inside. He walked me up the stairs and into an indoor pool. I saw a couple groups and got a bit nervous. Derek set our bag down in a chair. He then slid his shirt on and held his arms out. I looked at him confused.

"Let me hold Eryn so you can take your shirt off" Derek said softly. I shook my head and held Eryn.

"It's okay, I'll just swim with it on" I said and held Eryn close. I slid off her little onesie she had on over suit. I rocked her as she giggled. Derek got into the pool. I followed and slid into the Luke warm water while holding Eryn. She felt the water on her feet and started kicking her legs. She giggled and held onto me. I chuckled softly and held her close. I smiled and looked up at Derek. He was watching us closely. I laughed softly and smiled. I gently rocked Eryn and smiled. Derek's ears twitched as he glanced around. He frowned and looked at me.

"What?" I asked and watched him. Derek lifted my chin up and kissed me. I blushed and smiled up at him.

"What was that for?" I asked him. He smiled softly at me. I heard some splashing and then saw a woman look at me.

"Excuse me? Can you two not do that?" The woman asked. I held Eryn close and frowned.

"Can you not come up to us?" Derek asked her and pulled me close to him. I held Eryn and tried to distract her.

"Whatever. You two are gross. Your lucky someone doesn't call cps. Because we all know that's not your kid" the woman said and frowned. I looked at her with wide eyes. I trembled and held Eryn. Derek frowned and held me.

"I know for a fact that our child is ours. But I doubt your husband thinks yours is his" Derek sassed as he turned and held me. I relaxed as he held me. Eryn just continued to play with the water giggling happily. She smiled and looked up at Derek and kicked water towards him. Derek chuckled softly as he held me. I relaxed against him and smiled softly.
