I found myself thinking through the events that had happened weeks ago. Derek and I had a few run-ins where we would flirt, mostly me. But a few weeks ago, we celebrated Scott's acceptance into a vet school near our hometown. While everyone was busy, I was sitting at the bar. I was nineteen, but everyone was drinking. I was drinking right along with everyone else. I was trying to break from the stress of my applications to school. I had a lot of anxiety over the future. So I was trying to relax and not think about it, and then Derek came up. 

We started flirting, and then things led us to his bedroom. We started making out, and then we went further. Now, I was sitting on the exam table. I had started getting sick, but when it didn't let up for weeks, My dad made me go to the hospital. I assured him I was fine, so he didn't come. I watched the clock, waiting for Melissa, the nurse, to help me. She had taken my blood, made me pee in a cup, and done multiple things to figure out what was going on. I watched the clock, but I needed to distract myself. So I pulled out my phone. I laughed, seeing that Scott and Isaac were spamming our group chat. Isaac and I were not always on the best footing, but we became friends when he started dating Scott.

 "How goes being a pin cushion?" Scott's message pinged, causing my app to shoot to the bottom of the chat. I shook my head.

 "They took a few villas. Now comes the best part. Waiting," I replied. I saw the message had been read, so I shut my phone off and set it in my lap. I heard a knock, and then the door opened.

 "Hey, Stiles. I need to talk to you. This is Doctor Rose. She is going to do an ultrasound," Melissa said. I nodded slowly. I felt my body tense, and I could feel myself becoming anxious. Melissa helped me get situated. With shaking hands, I rolled my shirt up. I watched the doctor get situated. The doctor gave a kind smile.

 "So, How are you doing?" She asked as she got the machine set up. 

"Okay... Puking is just so fun," I said with a joking smile. The doctor nodded and smiled softly. She laughed a bit as she got fully situated.

"All right, I will do an ultrasound scan; we got some conflicting test results. Everything in your workup says that you are pregnant... But as You are male, it means concerning things," She explained. I went wide-eyed. 

"W-What?" I asked as she quickly tried to calm me. She shook her head. I felt Melissa gently hold my hand.

"Stiles, calm down. Okay? Take a deep breath. Look, normally, other levels in your workup would be larger, but nothing is at an alarming rate," Melissa said. I nodded slowly and held her hand. I found it comforting as I focused on calming down. I felt a jolt of something cold on my abdomen. It sent a shockwave through my entire body, resulting in me jolting.

 "Sorry, stiles, I didn't mean to startle you," Rose told me. I nodded and laid my head back. I felt her push the wand into my abdomen. I found myself unable to look at the screen; the Idea that it would have something on it scared me. 

"Alright, so everything looks in order," Rose said as she moved it. I nodded, and then I felt her move it and press it into my skin more. I could feel the whole room shift and fill with tension. I saw a black spot with some white in the middle. 

"Oh my god," Melissa gasped. I looked up at her. Her face looked like it had drained of color, and she looked down at me.

 "What?!" I asked and looked between them. They both looked in shock. Rose took a few pictures before looking at me. She warned me that she was moving my pants a bit. I nodded and watched her face. as she looked at the screen with a determined look, she moved the wand lower on my abdomen. as see seemed to find something, she took pictures on the screen. she adjusted and looked at me. she took a second before clearing her throat.
