Tian Jin narrowed his eyes. "Just because you are the second son of Duke Liang's main wife does not give you the right to be arrogant in front of me."

Liang Yaozu chuckled and waved at Tian Jin. "The son of the Duke? Of course not, he would never dear to be, but I am the close childhood friend of the great third prince. How can I not be arrogant, hehe." He took out two jade orbs and played with them in his hands. "You are such a bad friend. Trying to throw this friend away now that you are married. By the way, how is your marriage so far?"

Tian Jin relaxed a bit into his seat and supported his chin with his right hand. He asked, "I'm sure you're not here to ask about my married life so cut to the chase. What do you want?"

Liang Yaozu stopped playing with the orbs and leaned forward in his chair. With a devilish smile, he said, "Always so impatient when it's nothing to do with A'Ming."

Tian Jin stare at him, somewhat impatient and bore with this friend of his. Liang Yaozu was his study partner back when they were young children. Throughout the years, they have become good bosom friends. Hearing Liang Yaozu call Xiao Ming in such an intimate term made him feel a bit sour.

"Good friend, now that I've scratched your back you should scratch mine."

Tian Jin's left index finger tapped on the desk a couple of times. "Is this about that kid?"

Liang Yaozu only smirked, a look that said, "Who else can it be?" on his handsome face.

Tian Jin chuckled, "I almost feel sorry for that kid. He doesn't even know the real you after so many years."

"At least I know he's head over heels for me; whereas, ..." Liang Yaozu smiled, "You still have to make A'Ming reciprocate your feelings."

Tian Jin was slightly miffed at the truthfulness of those thorny words.

After these friendly jabs, they both laughed. Tian Jin waved at Meng Yi. Meng Yi quickly served the two men a cup of hot tea. Liang Yaozu blew at his tea and took a sip before setting it aside. Tian Jin also took a sip, but he held the cup in his left hand, gently swirling the liquid inside.

"Don't worry over that kid. It's not like his father is the prime minister. It would be easy to handle it for you."

"Worry? Who said I was worried?" Liang Yaozu laughed and then took out a letter from his pocket sleeve. He threw it onto Tian Jin's desk. "This is what you wanted before. It was not easy to get my hands on it." He gulped down the whole cup of tea and then left. "Let's talk another time Jinzi. I'll let myself out."

Tian Jin took the letter and read the contents. He scoffed, "So it's true about Wu Zianjun. He has truly covered his tracks well in the past." He handed the letter to Meng Yi. "Make sure this gets to my royal father."

Meng Yi quickly replied, "Yes." And placed the letter into his sleeve.

After that Tian Jin took out a new piece of paper. He quickly started writing something down.
