ELLEIGH'S POV

"Josh?" the doctor walked into the waiting room and we both stood up

"Hey Knox" Josh said and the doctor smiled

"Hey kiddo how have you been? he asked while walking down the hallway

"iv'e been feeling pretty good lately. i haven't been feelin depressed for about 3 months now"

"good, im glad. the depression is the worst part" Josh chuckled

"your telling me" he said and the doctor laughed

"so i see you have brung a guest with you today?" Knox said and he nodded

"Knox this is my girlfriend Elleigh, Elleigh this is my doctor Knox" josh intruduced us and i put my hand out

"nice to meet you" i said as the doctor shoke my hand

"nice to meet you too. Josh, you know the routine" he said, Josh nodded and walked into the room. Josh waved through the window and i waved back slightly chuckling. The Knox's face turned serious

"you do know that there is no way he can recover. He is terminal." he said andi nodded

"yeah, i know. He told me last night and yeah i get it.I only have him for a limited amount of time but i will be beside him throughout it all. I dont care if he is terminal, as long as i get any time wiith him at all" i rambled on and he nodded

"im ready! Josh said and the doctor walked into the room while i waited outside"

-HALF AN HOUR LATER-

Me and Luke headed back to my house because i had to clean out some of my clothes and Josh promised to help me.

"thats too small, had that for years, thats my sisters, that your top Josh" i said throwing the clothes into piles behind me. "okay my band shirts, im keeping all of those.... omg what even is this?" i said throwing a thin bit of black fabric into the bin. I then found a black dress with lace at the top, so i asked Josh what he thought. "what about this, should ikeep it or?"

"yeah, thats pretty. You should wear that to my funeral" Josh said

"OMG Josh! You can't say that!" i snapped

"why not? it is going to happen sooner or later and iv'e come to terms wit-"

"but what if i havent!" i asked and he looked over at me with tears burning in my eyes

"oh, baby, im really sorry. Im so so sorry i shouldnt of said that" Josh said andi shook my head

"no. its okay, i would have to et used to the fact of not having you here. You know its just hard because ever since we met we have always been together and the thought of you not being here it just.. " i trailed off and Josh rubbed my back.

" im really sorry" Josh said and then it fell into a comfortable silence until he broke it " but seriously though, you should wear that to my funeral" He said and i laughed a bit while he wiped away my tears. "by the way im cooking tomorrow"

"fine by me" i laughed
