It has been few days since the little tantrum I had thrown on Inaya and the guys. I found her next day in the parking lot waiting for me in my usual parking spot. She threw her arms around me crying and apologising right after I got out from my car. I couldnt stay angry at her for long and forgave her after knowing Salar forced her to tell her everything minus the eight grade scene I had confessed to her.

I also met the guys apologising for my out burst. They forgave me easily. Its been weird though, crossing the boys in the corridors passing smiles or salams but not talking to each other how we used to. I guess they are giving me sometime to process but the silence is weird.

"Zareen are you listening? I have been asking you a question for past 2 minutes? is everything alright?"

"Huh? oh sorry. No everything is fine I am just thinking about the psychology test" I lied to her.

Looking at me with calculative gaze she sighed and said.

" I was saying the media society is arranging a beach party this friday. I was thinking about going there. Salar, Zaroon and Asad are going to be there as well. Do you want to come with me?"

I thought about the idea. I have been craving for some good time for past couple of days. But societies beach party means loud music and social interaction which I hate which I can easily slip out off and go sit alone and enjoy the ocean.

"Yeah why not? where do I need to register myself?" I asked her smiling a little

She squealed and without any word dragged me towards the student activity center where I can see few student sitting behind a desk with a big poster behind them telling us that the beech party registrations are being held here.

After taking the required money from us and our contact details they gave us the tickets along with the flyer which included what will be going on the timings and the do's and donts but I am pretty sure no one will be following them.

It was the day of the beach party. I paid my Uber and hoped out off the car. We were asked by the society to arrive at a breakfast place at 6.30 in the morning and here I am along with the 100 or so other students I see in front off me. I am trying to locate Inaya out of the large amount of people who were currently waiting for the instruction by the society members. I see a girl waving at me frantically standing next to a pole. I narrow my eyes to look closely and see its Inaya. I smile big and jog towards her engulfing her in a big hug.

"Waittttt let me first see what you are wearing"

she said pulling back a little. I was wearing a pink flower chifon shirt tucked into my light blue boyfriend jeans and a brown leather cross body purse which held all my essentials for the day. While she was looking at my outfit looked at hers. She was wearing a pastel blue half sleave t-shirt tucked in a dark blue skinny jeans with a pink color tote bag.

"Yaar you look so cute." she gushed at me.

"Not bad for yourself madam" I replied to her with a wink at which we both burst out laughing

"Wow you two look like 11 year old girls ready for the annual picnic of a school"

We hear Zaroon from behind laughing at his own comment. We look back to see him Asad and Zaroon laughing at his comment while we glare at him.

"Shut up atleast we dont look like a homeless looking person" Inaya answered back.

They started bickering while Asad was puttin his 2 scents every now and then between there conversation everytime in support of Zaroon. I feel eyes on me and when I looked at the side I saw Salar casually staring at me with his arms folded.

"Why does he have to go to the gym. Allah why?"

I groan internally and pass a constipated smile towards him which he returns to me with his amused one. I was saved by the awkward situation when one of the society member started announcing the instruction and Inaya pulled me towards her but I could still face Salars gaze on my back and it was doing something to me which I liked but somehow it felt wrong on so many levels.
