Chapter 2: She's back
Semi just stared blankly at his phone.
He doesn't know how to react with H/N's words.
Again, his phone beeped.
Another message.
Thinking it was from H/N, he opened and read it.
"Oi, bakaaa. Tadaima."
(Translation: "Hey you stupid. I'm back.")
Fck. Semi thought to himself. She's back.
The next day was the last day of the Preliminaries for Inter-High.
Semi didn't get much of sleep as he was thinking about Y/N.
Fck. What do I do? When did she arrive? Why now?
Semi doesn't want to get distracted as it was the last day of the Preliminaries.
He got up of his bed and showered first.
After a while, his phone was ringing and then a loud knock at this door.
He doesn't know what to anwer first so he ignored the phone call not knowing who it was.
Opening the door, he saw Tendou in front of him.
"Semi-Semi, I've been knocking for ages. Why didn't you open immediately?"
"Wtf Tendou, why the hell are you even here? It's freaking 7am. Aren't you the one calling my phone?"
"Nope. Do you see me holding my phone? Anyway, I got up early and I just had a guess that I wanted to see you."
Semi just looked at him in confusion, and full of questions. But those things could wait.
"Hey Semi-Semi. The real reason why I got up early is because I've been guessing that she's back."
You were petrified by Tendou's words.
"What are you talking about?"
"Her. She's back, isn't she?"
Semi took a deep sigh and looked at Tendou, frowning.
"I guessed it right." Tendou smirked.
He just remained silent while changing your clothes, and listening to Tendou's humming.
Semi and Tendou arrived at the gymnasium seeing everyone.
H/N was already there and talking to Goshiki.
Before departing, you remembered to check your phone if who called earlier.
He took his phone out and scrolled.
*One Message Received*
Semi was about to open the message, then suddenly, somebody just shouted.
"Did y'all miss me?"
You turned your back and saw her. It was Y/N.
"Y/N, it's been a while." Wakatoshi was the first who greeted her.
"You're still as stunning as ever Y/N." Tendou said while hugging Y/N.
Everybody smiled and welcoming Y/N back.
Tendou introduced Goshiki as it was their first time meeting.
"I'm Goshiki Tsutomu, 1st year. Future ace of the team."
Semi pouted and shook his head. Goshiki, as show as ever. Semi thought.
"Yoroshiku Goshiki-kun. Good luck claiming as the ace."
The rest of the team can't help but laugh, and here is Goshiki getting pumped up.
I was about to approach Y/N, but then got interrupted.
"I didn't know you already have a new manager?" Y/N said facing H/N.
Flustered, H/N bowed down and greeted Y/N.
"I'm H/N, 2nd year. Nice to meet you Y/N senpai."
Y/N arched her eyebrows.
Before she could say anything else, Semi immediately went to her.
Y/N's attention was diverted to Semi.
'Whew, thank goodness. It's always chaos everytime Y/N's here.' Semi thought to himself.
"Semi-kun, I've missed you a lot." Y/N took my hand as she hugged me tightly.
