Chapter 10: Revelations
Semi's POV
(*^ω^*) PRESENT TIME (*^ω^*)
"Alright gather around!" Coach Saitou shouted.
We circled Coach Saitou and Coach Washijou.
"Tomorrow is the final match for the Inter High Preliminaries." Coach Saitou started. "As usual, we're facing against Aoba Jousai. We've been in competition with Seijou for the past three years, and now is not the time to slack off."
I looked at H/N. I'm quite confused with her reaction. What could she be thinking right now? It's impossible for her to know someone from Seijou, right?
At the same time, I glanced over at Y/N. She was writing attentively. Then she looked at H/N as well.
"I told you. Oikawa should've come to Shiratorizawa. Okay. Serve's up!" Wakatoshi commanded. (A/N: OKAAAAYY I JUST HAVE TO INSERT THAT 🤣)
Y/N's POV
"Oi H/N. You look surprised earlier when Coach Saitou announced about the upcoming match against Seijou. Why is that?"
H/N looked down. "Ahhh, nandemo arimasen." (Ahhh, it's nothing actually."
"Hmmm. Why, you dating someone from Seijou?" I asked sarcastically and laugh afterwards.
H/N flushed. She was red as tomato.
"Chotto, you do? Ehhhh? Da re da?" (Wait, you do? Ehhhh? Who is it?)
She was really reluctant to answer then she whispered something.
"It's.... Oi-..."
"Hmmm? Nani? You know what. You don't have to answer if you're that shy. Besides, I know you wouldn't date Oikawa-san. It's not like he would even pay attention to you." I cut her off.
She stiffened by the time I mentioned Oikawa.
"Matte da yo. Don't tell me? Masaka!" I froze as well. (Wait. Don't tell me? Really?)
"Well, it's not like we're dating or we're going out. It's just... we're kind of getting to know each other."
I don't know if I would laugh or be happy. I'm having a mixed reactions going on in my head when I heard her answer.
"So you turned Semi down, for Oikawa? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That is one bold move H/N." I kept on laughing.
"Y/N-senpai, please lower down your voice. Everybody's looking at us. Please don't tell anyone about this yet."
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Damn H/N." I can't stop laughing that tears started to come out through my eyes.
"Senpai, what do you mean I turned Semi-kun down?" H/N confusingly asked.
"Didn't Semi confessed to you?" I was confused as well.
We only looked at each other and I realized she doesn't know a thing.
"Ehhhhhh?!!!!!" H/N dropped her notebook because of what she heard.
"Wait the actual f*ck. Don't tell me he didn't?" I was quite angry with this one.
H/N lowered her head. And continued, "Semi-kun is very nice to me. He was the one who accompanied me when I just transferred here. But I never thought of him that way. I didn't even know about his real feelings towards me. Even if he did confess before and I didn't meet Oikawa-san, I would still turn him down. But still in a nice way."
I only looked at her. Then she asked me, "How about you Y/N-senpai? I know you like Semi-kun too."
I can't help but smile at her. "Oh H/N, it seems like you don't know a thing yet. We'll talk some other time." I patted her shoulder and went ahead.
At the other side of the gymnasium, I saw Semi looking at us, confused and a lot more expressions in his face.
