Y/N's POV

We're facing Aoba Jousai at the Inter-High Finals. Before going back to the dormitories, I ask Semi to join me for dinner. Luckily, he agreed.

We've been quite putting some distance between us ever since the last time we visited our home. We both know, there's too much going on around us.

I've only been gone for only approximately 7 months, or one semester, but it feels like a year. Since then, a lot has changed. Not just between us, but also with the team. As well with our family. Not to mention, that girl.

I pulled an act the other day claiming my rights as the rightful manager of our team's volleyball club. As I've mentioned before, I'm claiming back what's rightfully mine. How is it that I was replaced in an instant. It hasn't been that long since I was gone. But why?

I really wanted to talk to Semi about a lot of things. Firstly, that girl. Secondly, why isn't he the regular setter anymore? What. In. The. World. Happened. When I was gone?

Having thinking about a lot in my mind, we decided to go and grab some ramen.

After ordering, I can't help but gaze and wonder what to ask to Semi.

Conversation

Y/N: Nee, Onii-chan.
Semi: Hmm?
Y/N: Why is it that you're not the regular setter anymore?

Semi just looked at me blankly, then he just smiled.

Y/N: What's wrong Onii-chan?
Semi: Would you stop calling me Onii-chan?

He gave me one big fat frown. He was about to say something when our order arrived.

"Omattaseshimashita." (Thank you for waiting.)

I looked at him and kept on wondering why. What's wrong with him? I wanted to know everything. I tried my best to handle these kind of things in my utmost behavior. I gave him a smile for him to ease his pain.

"I told you, Y/N. You don't need to worry about anything. Okay?" He replied, reassuring me with the best he could.

No one dared to say another word, so we silently finished our ramen. Afterwards, we headed back to our respective dormitories. He accompanied me up to my dorm.

"Thank you for tonight, Semi."

Holy shit. That was one wrong move. I was kind of feeling down because I can't seem to open up to him properly, that I unintentionally dropped my honorifics.

I wanted to apologize for my impolite behavior, but I just turned my back from him.

As I moved forward, he grabbed my left hand all of a sudden that it made me face him. Then he placed his right hand on my left cheek.

Wait, what is he thinking? Am I seeing things right?

Rain suddenly poured down above us.

I can't understand a thing. My mind's currently blank at the moment.

"Semi, n-nande?" I looked at him with confusion. I can't seem to read his emotions. His eyes. "Y-your e-eyes."

I was speechless seeing Semi like this. This reminds me of like the way we were before.

Before anything else, he pressed his lips into mine and started kissing me.

I was on cloud nine. I definitely didn't see this one coming. I didn't do anything at first but then my body just moved on its own.

Then I came to realize that I started to react to his kisses as it went deeper than I could ever imagine.

We were kind of panting in between of our kisses. Soon enough he let go of me.

I don't know what to think, how to react. I just blurted out "What was that all about?"

He looked like he came back to his senses. Though he's kinda looked like he's also struggling to tell me the truth.

Iie!! Dame!! Iyada!! (No!! Don't!! Stop!!)

My mind shouted. I was definitely in shock that instead of piling him up with questions and demanding answers, I just ran away from him.

I didn't turn my back again, I was feeling hopeless and restless. I rushed under the pouring rain, and didn't mind that I was soaking wet.

Finally I reached my dormitory. I was gasping and in need of air. I didn't even realize that I was crying all the way.
