Parents would often tell their young witches and wizards of the day they first held their wand in their hands. How everything just automatically became so right in the world from that moment onward - it was a wizard's greatest memory.
But that wasn't the memory that Sam held closest to her magic-filled heart; it wasn't riding the Hogwarts Express for the first time, brewing her first potion or casting her first incantation. It was the thrill of her first ride upon her broom. The wind through her hair. The freedom it gave the captive girl. Every aspect of her passion was freeing and much more than that.
