Aishas POV

"Forgive me for this, love. But now I know who you are, I can't let you live," he replied as he pressed the ruby to my forehead.

"You don't have to do this," I tried to reason with him, and he scoffed in return.

"I never imagined the Goddess would resort to begging," he replied. "Don't worry. It'll all be over the faster you cooperate."

His eyes gleamed with evil, but he wasn't always like this. There has to be some good left in him that I can tap into.

"Listen to me. I understand why you're doing this. You had a rough life to say the least and you sought out power in order to protect yourself. Somehow you came across power, given to you by Chaos and you thought that that makes him the good guy, but your wrong," I explained, and he furrows his brows. "Whatever Chaos promised you isn't the answer."

"He promised salvation and power. Are you actually jealous that you're not the one being worshipped instead?" he accused, and I shook my head.

"Look at what your doing! You killed your own brother and killed thousand others. He promised you salvation and yet you're sacrificing innocent people and for only a little power than what Chaos promised you. It doesn't make any sense. Once Chaos is brought back, there won't be anyone to worship him. He will kill you and everyone else the moment he wakes up. You have to understand that you're merely a puppet to him. Disposable..." I continued and for a second there it felt like I was reaching him because he hesitated with his movement.

"I know that you know that this isn't right. Please open your eyes," I begged him, and just when I thought his gleamed with a spark of hope, his eyes darkens.

"You know something. I almost believed you. But then I remembered if he was all bad as you say he is, then where were you when our life was thrown into Chaos? You say Chaos is the one that will bring Chaos? Our lives are already thrown into Chaos. Werewolves, vampires, phantoms, witches, wendigos and demons. They killed more in a week than I did in years. Where were you, Goddess, when my son and wife was killed by the very creatures YOU created?!" he growled.

"Is that what Chaos promised you?" I asked, sadden by the thought. "That if you wake him up and kill me, he'll reunite you with your family?" I asked, but he refused to answer me as he glares daggers at me. "You think that I'm the one who created them?"

I was responsible for the line of witches and warlocks, but it was all for defense against the creatures Chaos created.

"You claim that Chaos is the source of all destruction. Yet you have killed more people when you have won the battle that decided the world's fate. You created those creatures that took my son away from me," he pointed an accusing finger at me.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He thinks that I'm the one responsible for the supernatural creatures that killed his family. I need to tell him that it wasn't me. That he was being lied to by Chaos.

"I wasn't the one who created them. Yes, I gave birth to witches and warlocks, but I wasn't the one who created those other creatures," I defended myself, but the look of rage he gave me was enough to freeze me. "It was-"

"Chaos? Is that what you want to tell me? Then let me ask you this. Who was it that created them then? Was it the God of death and destruction or was it the Goddess of life and creation?" he argued with me.

"That's not-"

"I've heard enough of your lies and pointless stalling. With your powers, Chaos will be awakened tonight," he said.
