I read over this but still excuse any mistakes.

Tristian's POV

"Tiana, im really on the verge of beating your ass" i mumbled still scrolling pointlessly through my phone.

"I-I just want some attention" she flicked my lip making me sigh dramatically and look up at her.

"What do you want?" I asked her locking my phone and sitting it down in my lap

"I need to v-vent" she got serious making my mood change as well.

I played around with my sister a lot, which of course is normal for siblings. We sit there and degrade each other, fight, and anything else in between but at the end of the day im still her big brother.

Between my dad and I, nobody could mess with her and actually get away with it. You would just have to pray I was the one that got to you before my dad.

As you could assume now, my dad is not one to be played with. You could guess that anyway seeing that he's the biggest kingpin in this state and a few cities in some surrounding areas.

My attention went back to Tiana as she started to talk "I l-like this b-boy Tris" she mumbled

I damn near choked.

Tiana. As in the girl who's steered clear of boys all her life, thinks she likes someone?

Hell must've frozen over.

"What type of spell he put on you?" I asked dramatically touching her forehead as if I was checking for a fever.

"I asked myself the same question" She laughed "But no seriously, you know I was so nervous going to a new school and s-stuff. I didn't think I would find somebody I-I could be cool with."

Tiana is the definition of shy. She's a very interesting person so I wouldnt call her awkward, she just has a hard time starting conversation with people she didn't know. She had a noticeable stutter that made her insecure. She didn't stutter much when it was just me or any of our close friends but with anyone else, she would have a hard time speaking

Once she was comfortable, you won't be able to get her to stop talking though.

The school year just started meaning she was at a new school for the beginning of her sophomore year. We weren't at the same school last year cause she stayed in Texas with our aunt.

Luckily, we were going to school together now. I just started my senior year.

"I met him because we sit beside each other in my English class. You know how teachers do the partner assignments at the start of the year so we can get to know each other and stuff." she told me before pausing as she looked down at her ringing phone. "Its him" she looked up at me and I laughed standing up.

"Answer it hoe" I told her playfully before walking in the house. I headed towards the kitchen and there I saw my dad getting some water before he grabbed his keys and slid his phone into his pocket.
