Dad, Josiah, and I sat a row behind agents Denae, Winston, Chronos, and Wallace in the courtroom awaiting on the bailiff to escort Asher Hillman to appear before the judge, on whether he will be set a bail. The courtroom cast an eerie quietness that sent an uneasiness sensation down my spine. My eyes gazed upon all the people sitting quietly across the courtroom. One woman which appeared to be in her late twenties grabbed my attention. She had long dark hair, pale but with a good complexion, and she was very thin. The woman seemed very upset, crying and holding her head down, as the bailiff escorted her to see the judge. I wondered what had her upset. The woman shed many tears and I felt bad for her. I sensed she shouldn't be here in this courtroom. She didn't belong here, I thought to myself. Please rise before the court." The woman stood in front of the judge with her hands and feet in shackles. She wept profusely, as the woman prosecutor stated the charges against her before the court. The prosecutor then asked the judge to deny the defendant bail, Annabelle Blue due to the seriousness of the charges. Though the young woman had never been arrested before. During which all of this taking place, I might add, there was no sign of a defense attorney or public defender in sight, to defend the woman from the harsh accusations against her. The judge unfairly denied Annabelle, bail. She looked up at the judge with an intense sorrow that swept over her face. Tears of pain rolled off her cheeks into her hands that were in those needless shackles. With a shaky voice, Annabelle Blue cried out, "PLEASE SET ME FREE!!!! I'M INNOCENT!!! I'M BEING FALSELY ACCUSED!!! PLEASE JUDGE, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!" Annabelle cried out in such despair. My heart was breaking for her, I couldn't stop the tears from coming. I believed her, I sensed she was telling the truth. I don't know how this happened to her, but I believed her. I desperately wanted to help her, but what could I do. There must be something I could do. The bailiff grabbed Annabelle by the arm and led her out of the courtroom. Josiah was trying to hold back the tears. His eyes looked like water dams about to burst forth. We looked at each other and then we looked down at our feet, trying not to make our emotions so noticeable. I just kept thinking someone has to help her. After today, Asher Hillman's hearing, I'm going to ask dad to check into the Annabelle's situation. And see if I can help her in any way. The bailiff entered the courtroom again, this time escorting Asher Hillman in. The court asked Asher to stand before the judge to be read his charges. The prosecutor read the charges against him to the court. Asher Hillman had one of the most expensive and noted defense lawyers known to speak on his behalf. Asher's lawyer painted a brief, but pretty picture of him to the court, which is so typical in the crooked sense. The judge set Asher's bond at 125 million dollars. I hope he rots in the pits of prison where he belongs, that's if he doesn't take off and ditch the next court hearing, I thought to myself. Before the bailiff escorted Asher Hillman back, Asher stared us down with hateful cold piercing eyes, that seemed to penetrate to the depths of my soul. We all walked out of the courtroom into the hall. Dad and the agents spoke a few moments before leaving. "Did you notice the death defying stare Asher gave us for the second time?" Josiah asked me. "Yeah, like he has any right hating on all of us when he's the one in the wrong, people never surprise me." I replied back to him. "I just hope the court gives Asher Hillman the maximum penalty of the law for which he so rightly deserves." Said Josiah. "In just a couple hours, Asher Hillman will be free on bail. and his next court date is a week away. The hard part is waiting till then." I replied. "I wish I could talk to Mirabella and Amora." I told Josiah. "We can go by your old apartment in Brooklyn and you can watch Mirabella and Amora come out, but you can't talk to them. Because if you, it could be detrimental to us now, since we are back in time." Said Josiah. "I reserved three rooms at the Ritz for us, when you and Josiah get there got to the front desk clerk and when asked the reservation name, give them the code name, Morpheus. I'm not feeling so good Gemini, so I'm going to rest in my room for the night." Dad told Josiah and I. "Okay Dad, I hope you feel better and after we take a drive through Brooklyn by my old place, we will meet up with you in the morning." I told him. "I just wanted to see Mirabella and Amora." I said. "Gemini, be careful and don't talk to anyone if you can help it." Dad said. "Don't worry, I won't " I told him. "Dad, you know the young woman Annabelle Blue we saw in the courtroom today? " I asked him. "Yes."he replied . "I need to talk to you about her." I told him. "I understand, Gemini, but can we discuss this first thing in the morning?" Dad asked me. "Of course." I said. "Josiah, you and Gemini be careful and I'll see you two in the morning." Dad told us.
