"Rainy Day"

(Oikawa's POV)

I sat on the bench feeling so disappointed in myself,

I got benched...and replaced by that damn kid..

It truly angered me. I felt the rain hit me, didn't care either way. Tears rolled down my face with the rain pouring harder and harder.

"Wanna talk about it?"

I look up to see a girl holding a umbrella over me. "I don't care.." I said wiping my tears, she sat down while holding the umbrella. "Want some?" She asks holding out a bag which looked like bread. "It's milk bread, tried it before?" She asks, I shook my head no and took a piece.

"T-Thank you.." I said, "So, spill it." She says looking out at the people running under the roofs of the stores. "Why should I? I don't even know you." I said turning to her, her e/c didn't shimmer. The darkness of the umbrella and gray sky made the whole world look black and white.

"Sometimes it's nice to rant to a stranger." She answers, I sighed and told her what had happened. She didn't speak, she just listened and listened.

"Don't worry about it, maybe stuff will change." She says handing me the rest of the bread.

"Thanks for listening to me, maybe you were right." She then hands me a tissue. "No problem, I'll be off now." She says handing me the umbrella. "Wait! What's your name?" I ask placing the bread in my bag.

"I don't think we'll be seeing each other again so..name's L/n Y/n, yours?" She asks grabbing her bag, "Oikawa, Tooru Oikawa." I answered.

"Well, see you Oikawa. If we ever meet again." She says then walking away.

"Y-Your umbrella!" I yelled out, she stops and turns to me.

"I like the rain, don't worry. Get home safe." She says then disappearing into the pouring rain.

(Timeskip to Highschool)
Y/n's POV

You groaned while walking to school, gladly you were a third year which meant only one more year of high school. Looking up stood the school Aoba Johsai, the uniforms weren't the greatest but it didn't matter.

You walked into the school then changed your shoes, nothing new to you.

Everyone crowded around to see who was in which class. Finally you found your name and made your way to the class.

"We have a new student today, you may enter."

You slid open the door, the class got quiet as you entered.

"Hello I'm Y/n L/n but you can just call me Y/n nice to meet you all." You said giving a small bow to the class. "Y/n, sit next to Oikawa. Please raise your hand Oikawa." The teacher announced. The girls eyes widen, you nod and went over to the boy with brown hair.

"Y/n..? As in, Y/n from the rainy day?" He asks as you sat down, "I guess we meet again, nice to see you." You held out a hand. He chuckles and shook your hand, "You too as well, let me show you around after class." You nod and went back to the board.

"Inter high Tournament? Sounds cool." You said while walking through the halls, "Yep, we had a practice match against Karasuno and they had some new good players.." He says then opening the door to the library.

"This is huge.." You looked around in awe, "Fan of books?" He asks. You nod and walk in as he follows behind, "You're a fan of aliens too?" He asks following you into the Science-fiction aisle. "Yea, are you?" He nods and smiles, "Try this." You said handing him a Alien comic book. "Looks cool!" He says flipping through the pages.

You nod and added grabbed some books off the shelf.

(Lunch)

"Y/n, let's eat lunch together?"

You look up to see Oikawa holding up his bento box, "Sure." You moved your stuff and he sits down.

"So, tell me about yourself! You seem interesting." He says laughing a little. "Well..I like to make Milk Bread.." You said shrugging your shoulders. "Really? I love Milk bread, can you make me some??" He asks showing you puppy dog eyes. You nod, he gets up and starts dancing around the cafeteria.

"What..are you doing..?" You ask as the students around laughed. "The Milk Bread dance!" He says holding out a hand, "Join me!" You shook your head and he pouts.

"F-Fine." You said getting up, "How..?" He chuckled and began dancing again. You followed along until the teacher came and told you both to stop.

"You were able to follow along pretty well, nice." He says smiling, you shrugged your shoulders and continued eating.
