Since I made it in the battle round, I am encouraged to make an original poem on why city life is better than a provincial life. Me being myself, procastinates and start making it this late hours before the 11:59 deadline. This is sabaw, but I know somewhere out there, a person relates with this so that's why I'm going to post it here. Drop your feedback for improvement, thank you!
UPDATE! Honestly unexpected, we made it in the top twenty out of 100 up. Yay again. Sana tuloy-tuloy.
Personally, do you prefer living in a city or province?

"Weathering Storms in Downtown"
Every night, a storm visits me in my slumber,
Pillows, pajamas, and my bed get soaking wet.
"Choo choo!" followed by the noise of the buzzing town,
Is what wakes my dull orbs and feeble bones strength.Fast-phased countless struts accompany my lone being,
Crowded trains, defeaning hubbubs keeps me holding.
Instant coffees, breakfasts, and service crew greetings,
Pumps my tired cells for a backbreaking day heading.Mountain of works given by the city's promise,
Smokes of technology painting the sky a bliss,
And diverse embracing crowds rumble the streets amiss.
Drives me to fight along with their own burden lists!Flashing lights passes 'til I get to my own space,
Strangers little talks gets me off in my own maze,
Its what always keeps me breathing despite the daze.
This is why I choose life in the city, who's with my storm, unfazed!♡♡♡
Happy 1K reads and up to us! Awiee. More reads to come CTOIC. Thank y'all.
