I had a little trouble with the casting of this character. I was stuck between choosing Jenna Ortega and Olivia Rodrigo. I wanted someone who could sing, but I also wanted to make sure that the character sticks to the casting. As we know, this show has the main family as Puerto Rican. I didn't want to take away from that. So I did research on both actresses. Although Olivia is known for singing and having an amazing voice, I don't want to change the family's ethnicity. Jenna is who I think fits best for this character. I've also come to find out that she can sing, it's just not something she normally does. I hope you're okay with this casting and I will appreciate any comment that helps improve this story.
