Chapter 18: Announcements to make

Angel's POV

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock. This time Radio Ga Ga by Queen is playing.

I clap along to the beat for a couple of minutes before finally deciding to get up. I check the text messages on my phone and I see one from Kang Hye Jung.

Hye Jung: Everybody except 2NE1 will be coming over for a meeting. 2NE1 won't be coming over because of their tour. Orders from YG.

I quickly get up and go to the bathroom to take a shower and do other personal stuff. I curl my hair a little and put on make-up. I made wings for my eyes, green eye shadow to bring out my eyes and put on some pink lip gloss.

Then, I walk to my closet and start picking out clothes. I grab a pair of denim jeggings and a sweater that says 'I ❤️ LA' with a pair of black and white striped socks.

I walk out of my bedroom and see everybody gathered around the table. I sit down and start eating the kimchi. I don't know who made it but it tastes delicious.

"Did you sleep well?" Daesung asks me. "Ne, I did. Gomayo for asking oppa." I say to him and he smiles. "Aww, look at the two lovebirds!" GD teases. I glare at him and he goes back to eating.

Taeyang and Seungri laugh. I can't help but join in. "What's so funny?" GD asks us, faking his anger. We just laugh at him more, this time Daesung and T.O.P join in. He gives up and sighs.

"Hye Jung eonni texted me this morning." I say out loud. "Oh, jinja? What did she say?" Seungri asks me. "She said that everybody except for 2NE1 is coming over. It's apparently YG's orders." I tell them and they seem to be a bit shocked. "I wonder why." T.O.P says quietly to himself.

"I called and told him about me and Angel. I think that may be the reason." Daesung says. "That makes sense. But why couldn't he have just called is to his office?" Taeyang asks. "He probably wants to have a little celebration party.

"I won't be surprised if PSY brings soju." Seungri says jokingly and we laugh at the small comment. "Oh, that means I have to call CL eonni about it and tell her the news." I say out loud and quickly finish my food.

~~Skip to the phone call~~

Angel: "Yeoboseyo?" I say into the phone.
CL: "Yeoboseyo, Angel-ah. How is everything?" CL asks me. She sounds happy.
Angel: "Good! I actually have something to tell you. You're not too busy, are you?" I tell her.
CL: "Anyi, we're taking a break right now. What do you have to tell me?" CL tells me and I take a deep breath before replying.
Angel: "Daesung confessed his feelings for me yesterday and asked me out. I said yes." I say while starting to get nervous. I don't know how she's going to react.
CL: "Jinja?! Congrats! I wish you two the best!" She tells me excitedly.
Angel: "Gomayo, eonni. Apparently, Daesung called YG and he's having everybody come over to BIGBANG's dorm." I say to her while biting my lip.
CL: "Good luck! I gotta go now but Angel, FIGHTING!" CL tells me sounding irritated now.
Angel: "FIGHTING!" I reply before hanging up the phone.

Just as the phone call ended, Daesung walks into room. I look up at him and he walks over to me, sitting beside me on the bed.

"How did she take the news?" He asks me. "She was happy and wishes the best for us." I tell him with a smile. He hugs me and gives me a peck on the cheek.

"That's good to know, dear. I'm glad to hear that." He says to me and I blush at the pet name. "Yeah, I'm probably going to get a call from Bom eonni interrogating me about it." I say jokingly and he laughs.

"That seems like something that she would do. Seungri and T.O.P went to go get some food and I was wondering if you would like to watch some TV with me." Daesung tells me. "Sure!" I say and we both get up to go watch TV in the living room.
