Chapter 25: The announcement

Daesung's POV

"Annyeonghaseyo to everybody in South Korea! I'm your host, Kim Eun Ji. Our guests today have been talked about a lot. Now, enough of me. Let's have out special guests for today come out!" The host says while Angel and I are standing by the back of the stage. We walk out on stage. My song, 'Wings', starts playing as soon as we walk onto the stage. Angel and I make our way towards our seat. The host is sitting on the right side and there's about 4 other chairs beside her seat with a table in the middle. There's a white love seat couch. I let Angel sit first before I do. Then, the music stops once we've all say down.
"Annyeonghaseyo Daesung and Angel! How have you two been?" The host asks us. "I've been doing pretty good." Angel says with a smile. "Same here, nothing too out of the ordinary." I reply. "That's good to know. Well, we have other famous artists in the entertainment industry with is today. Now, let's introduce them!" She says excitedly.
Angel and I turn around to see who's coming out to do the interview with us. Both if us can clearly see SHINee's Jonghyun, Super Junior's Heechul, 2PM's Taecyeon and f(x)'s Amber. This is going to be very interesting. Super Junior's 'Mamacita' plays as soon as they start walking out on the stage for the interview. Heechul sits right beside the host followed by Taecyeon, Amber and Jonghyun. Eventually, the music stops.
"Mianhae if this took either of you by surprise. This was all planned out by our staff." The host tells us and we start to nod our heads to show that we understand. "Once you're a veteran like me for variety shows, nothing really surprised you anymore." Heechul says and we all laugh at his comment.
"So," The host says turning her attention to Angel, "How have you been since you're last interview? Did the BIGBANG members watch it?" "Ne, they did. YG also watched it." Angel answers calmly. "What did you and the others think about it?" The host asks me. "We were really happy that she did such a good job. The other members got a little...out of control when she mentioned who her ideal type was." I reply. "Didn't she say that her ideal type was you?" Taecyeon asks me. "Ne, she did." I reply. "Oh, is there a possible love line going on?" Jonghyun exclaims. The host and the rest of the idols turn to look at me. Angel also turns to look at me. I guess she's wondering how I'm going to respond.
"Well, the feelings mutual so I guess there's no love line going on." I reply while starting to get a little nervous. "How is there no love like if both of you like each other?" Amber asks confused. "You're confusing them." Angel says, scolding me. "Mianhae." I say while bowing to my juniors and senior. "How about we let Angel answer the rest of the questions about your guys 'relationship'?" Heechul says and everybody seems to agree on that one.
"Well, there's no really easy way to say this. But...Daesung one day confessed his feelings for me and I returned them." Angel answers. "Wait, so are you two dating?" Jonghyun asks shocked. "Ne." Both Angel and I reply. The host and the idols seem to be shocked.
"How long have you two been dating?" The host asks us. "We've been dating since the 30th of September. So, we've been dating for 10 months now." Angel replies. "Does everybody in YG know about this?" Taecyeon asks. "Ne, they know. My parents and sister know about it too. She's even met them." I reply. "Jinja?! What do they think of her?" The host asks me. "They like her and treat her really well. My mom likes to tease and joke with us though whenever she talks to either Angel or me on the phone." I answer and I hear a few people laugh.

Angel's POV

The interview is going good pretty far. I haven't heard anything bad from the host, idols or the audience. I guess that's a good thing...
"Angel?" Amber asks me. "Ne?" I reply. "What does Daesung's mom tease you two about?" Amber asks me. "Well, last time I talked to her she was saying how she really wanted grand kids and that Daesung and I should speed things up a little." I reply. Heechul, Jonghyun and Taecyeon start laughing. Amber chuckles a big but she doesn't do as much as the others. "Ahjummas are really honest people. They'll say whatever is on their mind." The host says and we all agree on that.
"Have either if you talked about kids or anything like that?" The host asks both Daesung and I. "Ne, we've discussed it a couple of times. We never went I to depth about it though. I also mentioned to him that I want a puppy." I say happily. "You didn't just say puppy, you said puppies." Daesung corrects me and I blush from embarrassment. "This has gotten to be a really personal interview." Taecyeon says out loud. "Well, we have a new couple in the industry. Of course it's going to be personal. Every single one of us is curious what their relationship is like." Heechul honestly responds and I agree with him.
"Just out of curiosity, how many kids do you two want?" Amber asks. "She wants 2 girls and 1 boy. I want 3 girls and 2 boys." Daesung answers. "Aww!" Everybody in the studio says. Then, the host starts to say something.
"Alright, I think that's enough about the new idol couples. Let's give them a break since we don't have any more time for the interview. I hope everybody enjoyed watching this. Stay healthy and safe! Annyeong!" Everybody says bye at the end while the host says everything else.
After all that is said and done, Daesung and I talk to the others for a little bit. I exchanged numbers with Jonghyun, Heechul, Amber and Taecyeon. Once that's done, Daesung and I leave the studio to go back to the dorm where the others are waiting for us.
