Sidharth's mom instructs Sim and Sid both to give company to Naaz as she might feel left out as she doesn't know anyone else.
Sid introduces his best friends Vicky, Karan and Naveen to Naaz. They are his best friends since his school days and also his co-partners in their IT business.
Vicky: (whisper in Sid's ear) Sid, tu Naaz ko kaise janta h? We've been school friends and also work mates. Yeh achank se kaha se friend ban gayi woh bhi ladki?
Sid: (Arey! Is question ke liye mein ready nahi tha, ab kya bolu ise?) Yehhh... Wohh.. Aaaa.. Aish ki friend h, Aish ke jaane ke baad she was left alone, so humdard se hum friends ban gaye..
Vicky: Ohh!! Okay!! Waise, is she taken?
Sid: Matlab??
Vicky: Arey, I meant to say ki kya ye committed h like engaged ya Boy friend kuch?
Sid: (Abhi isko kaise batao ki mein hi Line mein pehla khada hoon until her parents approve) Oye!! Tu kyu puch raha h? Teri to agle mahine shaadi h na?
Vicky: Arey chup be.. meri liye nahi, tere hone wali bhabhi ka ek cousin h uske liye puch raha tha..
Sid: (Yeh toh mera hi patta kaat raha h) Oh.. Okay.. par iska shayad boy friend h already..
Vicky: Shayad?? Teri friend h, puch ke bata na yaar.. ya phir mein khudh baat kar lu kya?
Sid: (Abe, yeh toh aaj hi shaadi kara dega shayad) Bhai rukh jaa, tu toh aisa uchal raha h jaise tere pichwade mein aag lagi h.. waqt aur mahol dekh ke mein khudh puchunga use.. thik h?
Vicky: Sure bro!
Karan takes Sid to corner.. Karan: Sid, Naazu ka koi boy friend ya fiance h kya?
Sid: (Naazu??? frustrated) Kyu? Teri bhi hone wali biwi ke cousin ki shaadi karwani h??
Karan: Oye!! Meri hone wali biwi?? Woh kaha se aayi? Mein apne liye puch raha tha yaar..
Sid: (feels his blood boiling.. Abey in logon ko ho kya gaya h, meri hone wali biwi ke liye mere se hi puch rahe h..) Uskaaa boy friend h.. (kaun h, naam toh bataoShuklaji 😜)
Karan: Late ho gaya.. itni khoobsurat ladki nikal gayi haat se..
Sid: (khoobsurat??? Haan, woh toh h) My sympathies are with you..
Sid turns to look at Naaz, and he can see her chatting with Naveen.. Sid: (I have to go there before Naveen also tries his luck, Shehnaaz ab mein tujhe kis kis se bachate phirunga.. Aaj shayad kisi na kisi ka rainbow banana pakka h mere haato) Chal Karan chale..
Sid: (whisper's in Naveen's ear) Naveen, Shehnaaz ka already boy friend h..
Naveen: (Confused look) Tu yeh mujhe kyu bata raha h? Meri Shaadi ho chuki h aur mere do judwaa bachche bhi h.. bhool gaya kya?
Sid: (Dimaag kharab ho gaya mera.. isse pehle mera aur juloos nikle mein Shehnaaz ko hi yaha se leke jaata hoon..) Naaz, mein bhool hi gaya, Sim tumhe yaad kar rahi thi.. chalo mein leke chalta hoon..
Naaz: (smiles and pushes her hair strands behind her ear) okay..
While they are going he hears somebody calling him from behind..
'Siddy Boiii..'
He knows who it is.. he looks at Naaz who is kind of surprised.. he turns to that person..
Sid: Hello Shefali! How are you?
Shefali: Wasn't well but now I've seen you, Kaleje mein tandak pad gayi..
Naaz raises her eyebrows on that sentence. She looks at Sid puzzled.
Sid: Aaa.. meet my BEST friend Shehnaaz... And Shehnaaz this is Shefali Zariwala, Sidhanth's friend..
Shefali: Besstt friend.. pehle kabhi nahi dekha isko.. waise Siddy boy, I am not only Sidhanth's friend.. We know each other since 5 years now.. you could have called me your friend as well.. (she speaks rolling her eyes and making wiered faces)
Sid: Ohh.. yes Naaz, I meet Shefali every year once on this day.. So we are meeting 5th time in 5 years.. (Friend?? Teri wajah se Aish aur meri ladayi ho gayi thi.. tu toh aafat h)
Naaz: (notices discomfort on Sid's face) Hi Shefali, nice to meet you.. We will see you around in sometime, we are a bit occupied right now.. please make your self comfortable..
Sid: (Thank you Shehnaaz, mujhe iss bala se bachane ke liye) Yes, Shefali.. See you (Never!!)
The buffet has been set-up and everybody starts making their way to food. Naaz is with Sim and her friends and Sid is with his friends. All this while his eyes are on Naaz and he notices that few of Sidhanth's friends are ogling at Naaz.
Sid's POV: Why am I unable to keep my eyes to myself? If I continue like this, my friends will start doubting. I keep reminding myself 'She is just my friend, a good friend', its natural to feel protective about your friend especially when she is new and doesn't know anyone here.
My eyes fall on Sidhanth's friends Vishal and Gautam. They are looking at Shehnaaz as if they want to eat her. These two big flirts are always behind girls. Guest h isiliye control kar raha hoon, varna ab tak inko maar maar ke rainbow bana deta.
I should speak to Sidhanth about his loafer friends.
Sid goes to Sidhanth who is laughing with his female friends.
Arti: Hi Sidharth. Kaise ho yaar? (Speaks with mouth full of chapati)
Sid: I am fine. Enjoy your food. And please Excuse me, I would like to borrow Sidhanth for a minute.
He takes him to the corner and tells him. Sid: Anth, dekh tere chichorre friends ko ek baar. Kaise ladkiyon ko ghurre jaa rahe h.. Tu unko samjha jaake
Sidhanth (Anth): Bhai, mein kya kar sakta hoon.. They are eyeing on Shehnaaz.. Apko Shehnaaz ko kyu invite karna tha aaj jab aap usko sirf friend bolke introduce kar rahe h? They are bachelors so it's common to look at girls.
Sid: (in disapproval) kya?? Tu unki side lega ab? Even I was a bachelor once and have boys as friends. They don't do this kind of chichorri harqat. It's your choice of friends. Khudh bhi ladkiyon ke aage pichche ghoomte rehte ho..
Anth: Bhai, this is too much.. Aap toh mere pe hi chadd rahe ho.. I can't help it.. sorry!
