He sent the first message and waited. "Dude, is she replying?" Mully asked.
"It says she has seen it," Gaege responded with slight disappointment. As the boys spoke over each other, he watched his phone for the "Hexxus_Sin is typing". "Guys, I don't think she's going to say anything," He spoke into his mic as he set his phone down and started to pay attention to his computer screen.
"Awe Juicy, don't feel down. I'm sure she will reply," Josh said.
"Yeah Juice, she probably doesn't know what to say," Mully added.
"I don't know guys. This probably was a mistake."
"Nah dawg. Give her a minute," Eddie jumped in. The next thing he knew, his phone buzzed.
"Guys, she responded!" The chat fell silent waiting for him to read it aloud, "She said...," he opened the message and started reading, "It was really nice to meet you too," he put emphasis on you, "I'm happy I was able to get in." He started to type without having to hear what the boys had to say although they were just aweing. "Yo, she follows me. Should I follow her back?"
"Yes," The others said together. With the decision made, he went to her profile and hit follow back. He got a reply to his second message not even a second later.
"She says her birthday is in October," Gaege spoke as he typed back. He didn't say much for the rest of the time because he was too busy messaging her.
---- Hannah ----
"So where in Colorado are you from?" She read.
"About an hour from Aspen in a little town called No Name. Population: less than 150. I take online classes at Boulder because of the virus and what not though or else I'd be in Boulder."
"Oh cool. What are you studying?"
"Psychology."
"Shit. You could give me a psychological evaluation. I probably need it."
"well, lucky for you I have a questionnaire designed for that kind of thing lol."
"For real?"
"No, it was a joke."
"Oh. So is your name really Hexxus?"
"That's classified information. Is your name really Juicy?"
"Lol no but you know my real name."
"I know, I was kidding. My name is really Hannah Hillsin but since basically middle school, I've hated how basic it is considering I know 10 other Hannahs so I decided to go by something way cooler but now I'm a goth bitch so Hexxus probably wasn't it."
"Nah, I like it. It is cool and I assume you got Sin from Hillsin? That's super cool and you look really good." We messaged back and forth for a few hours until eventually I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was pleasantly surprised by a good night message and a good morning message. Most of our conversations were a get to know you type thing until one day he asked for my Skype. What am I? stupid. No. No I am not so of course, I gave it to him.
For the next week he would video call me before bed and ask me about my day and told me all about his. He had a personality slightly different from what we see on screen. He was soft and sweet. There were times where I fell asleep on call and, from what I could tell by the time stamp, he didn't end the call right away. He'd ask me for feedback on his videos even though my response was always positive.
"So, this might sound weird but would you want to come to Florida for a weekend and hang out?" He sent one day.
"I'm not sure how that would work. I'm currently out of a job so I don't really have money to do so... Plus, Im taking classes." I typed back.
"They are online classes right?"
"Yeah."
"And they are through the week days, correct?"
"Yes."
"Perfect. You don't even have to worry about it than."
"But money..."
"Don't worry about it. I can take care of that. Would it be cool if it was your birthday weekend? We could go out and get drinks and stuff."
"Um... yeah."
"Good. I'll book the flight than. You'll leave that Friday and leave here that Sunday. Sound good?"
"Sounds great. I can't wait to meet you in person!"
