I felt Gaege for the first time that night knowing it wasn't going to be the last. I didn't want it to be the last. He knew a lot more than what he lead on and it was like magic. It was as if it wasn't real. It was like how I imagined it should be but it never was with others. It was special, hot, and heavy. When I went to sleep, I only dreamed of it continuing.
I was awakened by Gaege running his fingers through my hair. "Good morning, demon," he spoke as I opened my eyes. I gave a sleepy giggle.
"Morning. What time is it?" I asked, cuddling a little closer.
"Time to get up and get clothes on because we have to go get Narrator from the airport," Gaege spoke in his baby voice."
"Mh, five more minutes mom." I threw my leg over him trying to cuddle as much of him as I could without becoming a human blanket.
"You look like a mess."
"I can't go looking like a gremlin?"
"No," he chuckled.
"Ugh, fine." I rolled over to grab my shirt off of the floor then sat up and put it on. After giving a good stretch, I stood and made my way to the bathroom to look at the mess that Gaege was referring to. My makeup was smeared all over my face and my hair was in knots. "Gaege, can you bring me my bag please?"
"Yeah, sure thing." He got up, only wearing his boxers, and grabbed my bag from the closet. When he brought it to me, I give him a quick peck on the lips and set it on the counter. Gaege wrapped his arms around my shoulders and kissed the side of my head as I dug for makeup wipes. Of course there wasn't any so I had to settle for good old soap and water. He just stood behind me and watched me do my thing. "Dude, that looks really fucking painful," he spoke as I brushed out my hair.
"Oh, it is. I'm just used to it by now." He made faces every time the brush loudly ran through knots. "Looks like I'm going bare faced as long as you're here." I looked a bit annoyed.
"That's okay. You're still beautiful," He smiled, scrunching his nose up a bit. I rolled my eyes and let out a little sigh with my smile as I looked at him through the mirror.
"I know but being naturally beautiful and still liking to wear makeup is a thing."
"I Know... I just-"
"I know." I turned around, stood up on the tips of my toes and give him a small kiss on the cheek. He was a little flustered and his cheeks turned red. I walked out of the bathroom with my bag in my hand. I set it on the bed and dug around for a comfy outfit. I threw on a pair of black nike joggers and a plain black Aspen Ski shirt.
"Well, this is the closest to regular white bitch I get," I giggled as I slipped on my black vans. He returned a smile.
"You don't have to be normal or regular for me."
"Didn't plan on it. You like me because I'm different, especially from most, not just in the way I act but because of the way I look too. You wouldn't have messaged me if you didn't find my look attractive during the zoom call."
"Walked right into that one."
"Besides, I like being comfy on car rides." I waited for him to get dressed before we both walked out the door. I slept half of the way to the Denver airport with my feet propped up on the dash, arms crossed my my head burrowed into his hoodie I wore. I could sense when we had gotten there and woke up immediately. We waited inside for only a couple of minutes before I saw narrator coming down the escalator with a backpack and small suitcase. He was looking from side to side trying to catch us in his sights. I stood from the chair and jumped up and down waving my arms violently as if I was a little kid. When narrator saw me he waved back with a large smile. "Narrator," I yelled, running in for a hug.
"Hexxus!" He lifted me up in a big bear hug. "It's so good to see you! I'm happy Juicy asked me to come!" Gaege walked up to greet him as he set me back on my feet. They dabbed eachother up, spoke few words, and we headed back out to the car. I offered the front seat to narrator because I wanted to go back to sleep in the back. Only five minutes into the drive, I was curled against the drivers side back door fast asleep.
---- Gaege ----
Gaege kept looking between the road, narrator, and Hannah in the rear view mirror. "So," Narrator spoke.
"What?" Gaege responded with a smile knowing what Narrator was asking without using words. Narrator raised a brow.
"How was your first night?"
"If you're asking about how my first night was with her, it's not my first night, remember. Everyone flew out for her birthday when she spent the weekend with me."
"I know, it's just you didn't give me details then so I assumed it wasn't as you had hoped and didn't ask."
"Oh no, dude. That weekend was great."
"Okay... so how was yesterday?"
"Well, she's definitely not who I thought I'd be talking to."
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"
"Bro, she is such a badass and I didn't even know. I knew she was smart and super cool but holy fuck. Yesterday was... amazing and... eventful. She's amazing."
"Go on." Narrator seemed very invested in what Gaege had to say.
"She could have been a professional snowboarder." Gaege looked back at her in the rearview mirror admiring her as she slept away. "She did ROTC when she got to college."
"Oh, so a wanna be soldier?" Narrator giggled.
"Shut up dude. Check this out." Gaege took one hand off of the wheel and sat up. He lifted the side of his shirt exposing the large bruises on his rib cage.
"Whoa, is that from her?"
"What? No," he dropped his shirt and put his hand back on the steering wheel. "I ended up getting in a fight and if it wasn't for her it would have been a lot worse."
"Wait, what? How? Is that how you got the cuts on your face?"
"Yeah. We had a little run in with her very possessive and toxic ex boyfriend and his gang. He was a super disrespectful prick and I wasn't going to sit there and do nothing. It escalated fairly quick after that. She managed to single handedly take out three of the guys. It was insane dude."
"Damn for real?"
"Yeah, shit was crazy.... We went back to the hotel and uh.... you know."
"Oh...OH..."
"I'm not going to share that but god fucking damn it, she is so beautiful."
"Gaege. I think you might be in love with her." Narrator smiled. Gaege let out a sigh and thought to himself for a second.
"I don't know yet..."
"Dude, I see the way you look at her. I saw the way you looked at her on halloween. You find yourself thinking about her a lot. I can tell. You can't deny that, that's for sure. Dude, she is everything you could dream of it's just the distance that you hate but it's not like you do much to go out and meet other people you live around anyway."
"You're right. And I do really like her. She is more than I thought she was. I didn't message her to start sweet nothings but the distance does suck."
"Hey, you literally play video games with guys who live nowhere near you. You can figure it out. I believe in you."
"Thanks dude. I hope so."
