"Juice Box?" Gaege asked as he threw his keys on the kitchen counter.
"Excuse me?" I paused in my tracks.
"Do you want a Juice box?" He opened the refrigerator door and pointed inside. He looked dead serious. I stared back in confusion. "Or beer?"
"Piss water?"
"Yeah. I also have water, sparkling water, monster, and almond milk." He pulled the large jug of milk out and showed it. I laughed at the fact he was offering milk.
"Water is fine. Thanks." He smiled and let out an exhale as he put the milk back into the fridge and took out a bottle of water.
"Let me show you around." He handed the bottle to me, "It's literally just a two bedroom apartment but you'll know where everything is. That over there is obviously the kitchen. Take whatever whenever. You are currently standing in the living room. And down this hallway," He placed his hand on the small of my back and lead me down the corridor, "This is the bathroom." Gaege flipped the light switch. It was pretty basic with one sink, white walls, and a shower tub. He had a translucent white shower curtain that was frosted enough to almost be opaque. "And on this side, we have my recording room." He swung the door open. The room was lit up by a colored lamp. He had guitars hanging on the wall along with a few pages of fan art, a long desk, a large monitor, and a small music recording set up next to all of his video equipment. He closed the door and started to push me down the hallway to the last door, "and this is my room." It was just a full size bed, a side table, and a dresser. "So yeah. I have decided that I'll let you take the bed and I'll just sleep on the couch for the weekend."
"Are you sure?" I looked up at him.
"Yeah. I had to think about how this whole thing would work. I didn't want to have to make you sleep on the couch or get a hotel room so this was the easier option. Anyway, I'm going to go get your bag from the car. Feel free to explore." His hand left my back and he shuffled past me. I watched as he walked out the front door before I moved. The first thing I did was lay in the bed. It was soft and fluffy and smelt like fresh linen with a hint of cologne. I wanted to lay there forever but I got up and wondered more. I stepped into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. My eye bags were darker than usual; probably from the super early morning. He had a contacts case and a toothbrush laying on the counter. Because I'm a snoop, I looked in the shower. There was a bottle of old spice body wash and shampoo. The next place I explored was his recording room. I sat in his chair and swirled around checking out all of the things on the walls.
