Winters POV

I was freaking out. I'd been in this prison with only my mind, and it was driving me crazy. I just gave some valuable information to the biggest terrorists in the galaxy, and my brother could be in danger. Not to mention that something funny was going on. I felt like I just gave way to something much much bigger than I could ever imagine.

The door opened, causing me to come back out of my thoughts and back to the real world.

Noah.

I ran into his arms and broke down. All of the anger, fear, and sadness of the past few days came tumbling out onto Noah's shoulder. I felt his arms tighten around me, lifting me and giving me support. After what felt like hours in his arms, I pulled away to see that he had a slash across his eye.

" Noah," I said with uncertainty. " What happened? What did they do?"

" No, you first." I could tell that he was crying, but was trying to hide it.

" Noah, they needed something, something in my head." I started, but he cut me off.

" I know, but did they get it."

" Yes," I said with shame.

" How long ago!" He started to panic.

" I don't know a couple of hours." I didn't look at him as I said it; I felt as if I had failed him. After no one said anything for a couple of seconds, I sucked my breath in and said, " Noah? What is happening."

" It was a Sith way-finder; he needed it to find something. To know if the rumors are true. " He looked me in the eye, and I could tell that he was scared. " He could have not found the way-finder, I mean..."

" What are the rumors?" I asked, and when he didn't answer, I yelled. " WHAT ARE THE RUMORS!"

" That Emperor Palpatine is alive."

No one talked. It was pure silence. Too overwhelming. But I didn't ask for Noah to tell me twice because I almost knew all along.

" Noah, what did they do to you."

He told me how they tortured him into telling him why he was there. He told them only half the truth so that the lie detectors didn't pick anything up. He saw Cole, and he gave him the cut on his face, and he told him that he knew that he was lying because his ears were red.

" Noah, be careful, there are cameras, and they can hear us," I said as quietly as possible. I looked in his eyes and saw fear, but masking the fear was hope. All of a sudden, I grabbed both of his hands and closed my eyes. I don't even know how I knew what to do, but I let my instinct take control.

' Noah.' My voice echoed through our heads, but my mouth didn't move. I could feel what he felt; nervous, he was sad and also surrendering. I had a feeling he wasn't telling me everything.

' Noah,' I echoed, ' Do you hear me?'

'Wha...what is going on, why can I hear you?'

' Take a deep breath and don't think about it, you need to tell me what is going on. What are we supposed to do?'

' I am here to get you out. We have a spy on the inside.'

'Who is we?' I ask.

' The rebels, they also need to know what you know.'

' Okay.' I felt determined to bring the information back to the rebels to make up for my mistake. 'what is the plan?'
