Chapter 8

hey guys, sorry it took me so long to update :/ ive been super busy. anyways, ive noticed you havnt fanned or voted! this needs to change. i really need to know if anyone likes it. and if you fan i will check out your stories and give you dedications ands stuff :) well here it is :D

Chapter 8

“Maya, can we please ride this one?” Louis begs, pointing at a very large roller coaster. He sounds a bit like a whining three year old.

            “No, it’s too scary. I am not getting on that thing,” I cross my arms over my chest.

            “I will protect you,” Louis comes over, gently taking my arms in his hands and pulling them away, intertwining our fingers together. He then leans in and presses his lips to my cheek.

            “Fine,” I sigh. He pulls away with a huge grin on his face, and then proceeds to drag me to the entrance of the rollercoaster.

            My hands start to become sweaty because of the nerves. Standing in line forever, watching it repeatedly, makes it worse. I can tell it is also bothering Lou because he is literally jumping up and down right now. I guess all of this standing still is getting to his head. He looks like he is about to have a mental breakdown.

            We were now in the front of the line. I was ready to run of there screaming, “I’M TO YOUNG TO DIE!” but sadly, I am trapped. Louis wanted to get in the front, so now I really think that my time on this planet is up.

            The cart pulled in, we were next. The gate opened and Lou grabbed my hand, pulling me in. I fasten my belt and pull the bars over my head. Lou looks at me with a huge grin and I reply with wide eyes. My hands are sweating like crazy and I wonder if I might slip out of this thing. Are these things safe anyways?

            “Alright folks, we are about to take of so I recommend you rest your head against the headrest. Three, two, one, take off!” The announcer says. The ride shoots forward; I close my eyes, screaming my head off and hoping for this to be over as soon as possible. I keep my eyes closed for the ride and when I feel it stop and Louis take my hand, I open my eyes to find that we are upside down. Grabbing Louis’ hand, I literally squeeze the life out of it.

            “Maya, you will be fine. Didn’t I promise you I will protect you?” Louis says, my eyes closed tight.

            “Yes.” I say in a high-pitched voice.

            “I did, now release my hand. I think you already brutally murdered it.”

            I laugh and let go of his hand. The ride starts to move again and soon we are walking off. As soon as we got off, I had a huge smile on my face. I was literally jumping around like a mad person screaming, “I DID IT, I DID IT!” while Lou was laughing in hysterics.

            “And everyone calls me the crazy one when truthfully, it’s you.” He says as he takes my hand and leads me over to the Ferris wheel. I just smile like a complete idiot.

            “Hey is that Summer and Niall?” I ask as we get in line. They were just sitting down and not paying any attention to us as the ride started to move forward, letting us get on right after them. It was finally after dark and the lights from the rides started to turn on, lighting up everything with color. As the ride starts to move, I snuggle into Louis’ side watching the lights move with the rides. The ride stops, with Summer and Niall at the very top and I bump Louis’ side, pointing at then for him to watch. Niall was leaning into her, she was leaning into him, and I let out a little excited squeal. Louis just laughed at me. Then the next thing I know, they are kissing. A few seconds later, fireworks started to go off, with us at the top finally. Looking over at Louis, he smiles and gives me a small peck on the lips. I look back at Summer and Niall and decided to get my payback at Summer for her walking in on Louis and me because they are kissing again.
