Prologue
“MAYA! TELL ME THIS IS NOT YOU ON THE COVER OF THIS MAGAZINE!” Summer yelled as she ran into my room, a bit overly excited for my taste. “Explain. Now,”
I sigh, sitting up from lying on my back on my bed, giving Summer a small glare as I do so. “Nice to see you too Summer,”
“Sorry, it’s just that MY BEST FRIEND IS ON THE COVER OF A MAGAZINE WITH ONE FREAKING DIRECTION!”
“Hey did you know that Abby got a new car?” I say, hoping to avoid the subject she is trying to bring up.
“Don’t try and change the subject Maya, I want to know now,” She states with a serious look on her face.
“Fine, are you ready?” I ask with a bored tone.
“YES!” She yells, jumping up and doing a little happy dance then sitting back down and giving me her full attention. Got to love her and all of her hyper-ness.
