Chapter 9

It has been seven months. Seven months since I last saw him. Seven months since I last heard one word from him. I knew it was too good to last. Last month, Summer received a letter in the mail. It was plane tickets to go visit the boys. They were from Niall. Being Summer, she went. I have been living in my apartment with Abby, who moved in with me after Summer left for England. She says she wanted to move in, but I think that Summer convinced her to move in to keep an eye on me. However, Summer is supposed to be back today.

Summer has called to check up on me a few times while she was away. She thinks that I am "depressed", but I think she has gone nuts. However, Abby agrees with her. Anyways, we talk and she tells me about how the Boys are. As soon as I would ask how he was, she would make up an excuse and change the subject.

Abby and I were currently sitting on the couch watching E! when a story came on about One Direction.

"Louis Tomlinson from the biggest boy band in the world, One Direction, has been spotted outside of a small café in London, England with Emma Watson, from Harry Potter. Sources say that they have spotted these two walking around the streets of London holding hands. What we want to know here is if these two are together. By the looks of these photos, I think we could say they are. And what happened to the girl he was with a few months ago who he called his "girlfriend"? Tune in next week for the rest of the scoop."

"Maya!" Abby yells as I throw off the covers that I had laying on me on the couch and storm off to my room. Slamming the door, I throw myself on my bed, and begin to cry. I do not know how long I was laying there crying, but I could hear the front door open and a whole lot of squealing. Next thing I know, my door is being opened to reveal my best friend. Liam was standing there leaning against the doorframe.

I lift my head up, giving Liam enough time to get a good look at my puffy, blood shot eyes and red nose.

"Maya." He whispered, running over to my bed and pulls me onto his lap as I cry my eyes out. Before, I was crying over Louis, now I am crying over getting to see my best friend for the first time in seven months. It is now the beginning of December and I have missed him so much.

"Oh my gosh, Liam I have missed you so freaking much." I laugh in his chest.

"I have missed you too Maya. It's just not the same without you around. Even though we talk a lot." He chuckles.

"It still wasn't enough." I snuggle into his chest even more, enjoying being around him again.

"I agree. But the tour is over with, and we have a whole month off." He says, causing me to pull away and smile at him.

"Really?"

"Yeah, we're also staying here in town the whole time."

"All of you?" I don't think I am ready to see him again.

Liam lowers his head. "Uh, yeah."

I climb off on Liam and lie down on my bed letting out a loud groan. Liam gives me a look as to say "Sorry". I just half smile at him.
