jeongguk and jimin walked next to each other as his and taehyung's mother walked ahead of them, chatting each other's ears off. jeongguk glanced over to jimin, watching as he texted on his phone, focusing on that. he squinted at his phone, reading the contact name, recognizing that it was taehyung.
"are you close with taehyung?" he said, facing forward again.
"yeah!" jimin grinned, sending one last text before slipping his phone into his pocket, "i've known him since elementary; he moved close to my house too, so it was easy to visit him. you're a psychologist, right? his mom was telling my mom that you could help him with his anger issues."
"technically a therapist." jeongguk corrected him, "i figured it would be great to get a bit of background information on him from a close friend; like i'm getting to know him.""he was always a pretty angry person, i suppose." jimin pushed a tuft of hair behind his ear, "especially when we were kids; he'd often get into fights with others at school or on the playground, really kept his ground." he chuckled nervously, "when we got older though, it got a little worse. i don't really know why.. nothing bad or traumatic happened, he just slowly became angrier." he threw his hands up, "trust me, he's not always in a grumpy mood! he's a really good person when he's calm.. you just don't wanna get on his bad side."
"you just noticed he slowly became angrier?"
"yeah," jimin shrugged, "around maybe fifteen? he'd snap easily, or would get into really bad fights."
"is he stubborn as well?" jeongguk was taking mental notes.
"not really? a little bit, but he's also really easy to convince. plus- don't tell him this- he's a little on the slow side." jimin snickered, a mischievous look on his face, "he's easy to convince, i'll tell you that. i'm surprised you were willing to take him; he's known to punch therapists."
"i'm not worried about that." jeongguk stared at the short male, "i'm pretty good at getting people to listen to me and have them complete tasks i give them. i've been told i'm quite charismatic." he smiled, "it would be great if we stayed in touch, jimin."
"why?" the male looked up at him, eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "i'm not the one who needs therapy, that's taehyung."
"yes, i know. but still, keeping in contact with patients' friends and family can sometimes be essential. what happens if taehyung doesn't come to a session one day and isn't answering his phone? how will i reach him?"
"true.. that makes sense. i'll give you my phone number then." he pulled out his phone.
"you're easy to convince as well." jeongguk smirked.
"yeah.." he winced, "i'm also quite the gullible one.."
"gullible, huh." the therapist scoffed, "that's good to know."
