Jump City High School was hell on Earth to Raven.

The food was terrible. The uniforms were humiliating. The classes were boring. The staff was discourteous, and worst of all, the bullying was getting old.

If she hadn't already promised the Teen Titans that she wouldn't reveal her powers to anyone, the whole entire building would have been blown up by now.

The team sent her there to work on her people skills, hoping that she would be able to socialize and make more friends. But that didn't happen. If anything, it made her even more depressed.

Every single day that she attended school, Raven experienced some form of bullying. The other girls would mock her sense of style while guys would constantly tease her.

Usually it didn't bother her, but today was different. It gave her a weird feeling in her gut and she just wanted to go home.

As soon as she asked to use the restroom, Raven was heading towards the exit. That was, until a boy stepped from the shadows and grabbed her by the arm.

"Where ya going, babe?" he questioned, a smirk on his lips.

Raven just glared at him. "None of your business," she simply answered and went to retrieve her arm, but he just gripped it harder.

"Hey," he said and pulled her closer to him, "That wasn't very nice. I just wanted to ask you out."

Raven looked at him, a disgusted expression on her face. "Well that's not a good way to start. And the answer is no."

The boy scrunched his face up and began to tug her to follow him. "I don't take no for an answer."

Before she could protest, another boy suddenly came up behind her and pressed a knife into her back. "I'd follow him if I were you," he whispered close to her ear.

Raven let out a breath and slowly obeyed. The temptation to use her powers were so high, but she promised she wouldn't, and she wasn't one to break a promise.

The boys took her outside through the back doors, where nobody was usually seen. A cloth was swiftly wrapped around her head from behind, preventing her from talking.

"The boss is gonna love this one," one of the boys mentioned as he pulled out his smartphone to start typing. Raven's eyes widened the slightest when she heard this and put the pieces together. They were going to sell her.

Within seconds a SUV pulled up to the back of the building, backing up to the group of teens. A man stepped out of the drivers side and eyed Raven.

"Perfect," he commented and gestured towards the back of the vehicle, "Load her up."

Raven immediately started resisting and attempted to break free from their grasp. The boy behind her took his knife and managed to cut her arm while trying to threaten her.

"Don't make marks on her, you dumbass!" the man scolded, "We just lost hundreds."

"It's not my fault!" the boy defended and struggled to keep her in his grasp.

The other boy managed to get her on the ground and ripped her jacket off, tossing it to the side. Once this was removed he held her arms back, using rope to bind them. "Stupid bitch just gave me a black eye," he groaned and held his eye with his free hand.

Raven continued to fight against them as they lifted her up and attempted to shove her in the empty trunk.

"Human trafficking is sickening."
