The pilots ran to the ambulance with the limp child in there hands. The paramedics used a shock to get her heart pumping again.

Paramedic: MOVE CLEAR

Brielles body shocked up from the jolt and they check her heart beat

Paramedic: it's weak but it's still there we have to hurry

They gave her three blankets, it wasn't enough but it had to do. You could see her ribcage. She looked very sick.

The paramedics startes driving to the emergency room with the sirens on. They signaled the cop that was on the case

Paramedic: we have her she's very weak I don't think she's gonna make it she's too young

KAIRI POV

In that moment my heart shattered... is my daughter gonna die. Kairi question himself, something that any dad shouldn't have too

Cop: tell me the status

Paramedic: she definitely has hypothermia her heart beat was gone but luckily we got it back it's very weak we are trying to get to the emergency room

Everyone sighed in relief atleast she wasn't dead

Kairi, Mattia, and Alejandro rush to the car. Kairi speeds off to the emergency room shaking. Once they arrived everyone ran inside to the nurse

Kairi: wheres Brielle Cosentino

Kairi speaked in a hurry manner

Nurse: oh are you Brielles dad she's the worst case I've ever seen... I'm so sorry sir that was unprofessional

Kairi: where is she

Nurse: shes in critical condition right now so unfortunately she can't be seen by people

Kairi: what do you mean I'm her dad!

Nurse: sit in the waiting room and we'll call you once the doctors tell me that a person is allowed in the room.

They all went to the waiting room and kairi bounced his foot up and down being anxious waiting to see the only person he wants right now.

The doctors surrounded brielle thinking of ideas

Doctor: check her temperature

Nurse: 67

Doctor: heartbeat?

Nurse: 80 to 110 sir

Brielle was spread on the table with a breathing tube in her nose. Her body flinched every now and then, and she was still blue

Doctor2: get heating pads

They surrounded her by heating pads

Doctor3: hook her up to the water drip

Doctor: also we need to run her over the MRI we don't know if her brain waves are good since her heart stopped we don't know how long

Doctor2: not right now she needs to stay on the heating pads so she gets her temperature back we need atleast 97 degrees

Nurse: it raised to 72

Doctor: good so atleast it's working

Doctor2: I really hope she isn't brain dead

Doctor3: should we inform her father

Doctor: I mean yeah I would've wanted to know

The nurse went out to talk to kairi

Nurse: Cosentinos?

Kairi stood up and went to the nurse his eyes were red

Nurse: Brielle is still in critical condition. She has hypothermia and is below average temperature. After she reaches 98 or 97 degrees we will run a MRI making sure there's no damage done to her brain cause unfortunately her heart stopped but it came back.

Kairi nodded his head walking back to the seats. Alejandro head was on Mattias arm he was dead asleep. Kairi continued to stare at the wall stuck in his thoughts

The doctors decided that they were gonna run the scan tomorrow cause she was getting sicker and it would be bad if she died in the MRI. They settled her in the room and changed her dirty shirt into a hospital gown. Brielle had Kairis beanie gripped in her hand. The doctors left and the nurse was the only one in the room,she took her temperature and marked it down

Nurse: why does it keep going down it was now 71

She noticed the water drip was cold and instantly changed it to warm water. The nurse looked down at brielles pale body and blue lips

Nurse: I really hope you get okay

The nurse felt bad so she allowed one person in the room she walked into the waiting room.

Nurse: one person is allowed in the room

Everyone shot up and kairi got up and followed the nurse to room 15

Nurse: I'll let you take it from here. Don't move her and I'll be back every 2 hours to check if her temperature is going up.

Kairi: okay

The nurse walked away and kairi nervously entered the room. He saw his daughter that looked dead the worst thing for a dad to see. Kairi bursted down in tears he sat near her and held her hand

Kairi: hi bb

He wiped his tears trying to put on a fake smile

Kairi sat in silence holding his daughters hand when the nurse came in to check her temperature

Nurse: good 81 she still has hypothermia but with this pace I think she'll make recovery

(I'm sorry for not posting I've been having a bad week. My bestfriend of 5 years betrayed my whole family and is snitching on me for smoking (when she practically made me when I was fucking 12), people I love been hiding secrets when they already know I have trust issues and been struggling to keep my mental health up. it just feels like I can't trust anyone or no one is here for me and school is a pain in the ass I'll try to update more tho ❤️)
