BRIELLE POV

I heard a lighting strike and big bangs after it. Tears came down my eyes the loud noise brings me back to that day

Flashback

MOM: I HATE YOU I FUCKING HATE YOU

Brielle: mama?

She slapped her in the face and stuck her long nails into her. Brielle sobbed from the pain when Kairi ran in and grabbed me away from my mom quickly. I didn't know what was happening and I still don't all I know is that my mama hurt me

Kairi: it's okay baby I gotchua nothings gonna happen

He said bouncing the 1 year old

Kairi: grab Bri and close her in her room Mattia don't leave or let anything happen to her

Mattia took Brielle trying to cheer her up.

Mattia: hey baby

He gets in the room and closes and locks the door making sure her psycho mom doesn't try to grab her again.

Brielle didn't know how to speak but she was crying

Mattia: shush go to sleep I'll protect you no matter what

1 year old Brielle fell fastly asleep after Mattia rocked her in his arms.

End of flashback

Brielle was sobbing her eyes out screaming her dads name

Brielle: PAPA?

KAIRI POV

I woke up out of my sleep. My father instincts made me feel like something was wrong

Brielle: PAPA?

I heard my 3 year old daughter yell. I instantly ran out of bed and went up the flights of stairs to her room. I opened her door to see a sobbing Bri. I picked her u and cradled her in my arms

Kairi: what's wrong baby

Brielle: boom boom

She said kairi was confused then realized it was thunder storm

Kairi: baby it's okay it's just a little storm

Kairi said walking downstairs with her to his room

Kairi: I'll keep you safe nothing bad will ever happen to you I promise

Brielle eyes were closing she was falling asleep

Kairi made it to his room and she put her in the bed before getting in.

Kairi: I love you now it's sleepy time okay

Brielle: fay papa

She said nodding her head. She fell asleep but Kairi stood up he watched her chest fall up and down, Watching her toss and turn in her sleep. He put his arm around her pulling Bri into his chest. She stayed there

Kairi: god I hate your mom she did this if I could go back and leave her early I would. I would take you with me

Kairi looked at her features on her face. They had the same brown eyes, and lips. One of the features he loved the most on his daughter was her cute button nose.

He fell asleep at 4am making sure the storm stopped so he didn't need to protect his daughter anymore
