ALEJANDRO POV

Alejandro was always and I repeat ALWAYS the one to wake up first in the dysfunctional household. But today he had the same weird feeling as yesterday, so instead of staying on his phone all morning he grabbed a glass of water and headed to check on his family. First mattias room he was half way off the bed. Then kairis, he was surprised to not see Brielle in his bed who usually climbs on top of him and sleeps there. Alejandro then made his way to Brielle's room with a smile on his face but once he opened the door his smiled dropped and the glass fell out of his hand.

KAIRIS POV

Kairi was deep into his slumber as he heard a glass shatter taking me out of my dream. Kairis heart beat speed up as he immediately got up having a feeling that something has gone bad.

Alejandro: KAI

Kairi started running down the hall blinking his eyes making sure this is real life, and not a dream. He went inside Brielle's room where Alejandro had pulled her onto the ground, and put a pillow under her head as the young girl seized. Kairi instantly ran inside the room not giving one fuck about the glass he went by his three year old side she was completely drained of all her color.

Kairi: shit call- call 911 please ale hurry

Alejandro scurried our the room fast as Kairi held his daughters body her had calmed down from seizing and now completely limp. Kairi watched in terror as his daughters breathing got heavier by the second.

Kairi: FUCK HURRY

He picked up his daughter and ran out his house to the car. Mattia got in from hearing the yelling.

Mattia: I'll drive

Kairi: I can't lose her please no

Mattia sped off he drove responsibly but in a fast manner. Kairi was freaking out his barley breathing daughter was in his lap. Her heavy breathing stopped... her body stopped breathing.

Kairi: no brielle listen your staying with me, whether you like it or not. We are both living till the day you graduate

Mattia stopped the car at the hospital letting Kairi run in.

Kairi: HELP PLEASE SOMEONE

Nurses ran in with a gurney he heard all commotion going around but he was initially focused on his daughters none rising chest.

He saw as the nurses pumped her heart waiting for the Resuscitate machine to come in.

Nurses: how long has she gone without breathing

Kairi: about 5 minutes

The nurses looked at each other with sad faces

Kairi: what what aren't you telling me your gonna save my daughter right

They roll Brielle into emergency surgery. Even though they don't know what's wrong there gonna resuscitate her body.

Pediatrician/Surgeon: CLEAR

Everyone took there hands off of Brielle as her heart line was flat.

Surgeon: Charging to 120... CLEAR

Just as if a miracle happened her heart beat was beating again.

Pediatrician: we'll do testing later her body needs to rest... and we also need to take the other option into consideration. Inform her dad please

The nurse nodded quickly before leaving the operating room and going to the waiting room.

Nurse: Cosentino?

There was three men who stood up all who's eyes were red.

Nurse: it was a miracle that we got her heart beating again. We still don't know what caused this but also... Brielle had no air to her brain for 5 minutes which means she could be brain dead which presumes death.

Everyone broke down sobbing and sympathy looks was given to them. Kairi walked out the hospital and sat on a bench. He could barley see due to his crying and swollen eyes.

After a good 10 minutes he came back inside.

Mattia: we can go see her now but you should go first

Kairi went straight to the room remembering the number that the nurse gave him. Before he entered he wiped all his tears off and tried his best to not let out a sob. He knew Brielle hated seeing him sad even if she couldn't see him.

Kairi: hey princess I know you probably can't hear me but I'm hear. Listen we're gonna figure out what's wrong and we are all gonna go home. Please wake up

Kairi held Brielle's hand she looked drained of her color and weak with all the tubes and wires connected to her

He hoped and prayed that she would move even a little flinch was better than anything, this couldn't be the end she was too young.

The boys walked in tears running down there cheeks. They quickly wiped them and sat on the couch.

Kairi: now we wait.
