I wake up early in the morning forgetting I have school today.
I text maya asking if she wants to sleepover tonight and she said yes so I'm going to drive her to school today. even though I know we have school tomorrow shhh.
I just wear some jean shorts with a white sweatshirt that almost covers my shorts, so it doesn't look like I'm wearing pants, but I don't care
"hey ella!" maya smiles as she closes the car door and I pull out of the driveway
"hey" I smile
"your picture on your story was so cute yesterday" she tells me
"aw thank you, hey can you check how many views there are?" I ask handing her my phone and she nods

"he probably loves you!" she yells back as we pull into the parking lot, I forgot the windows are down so people probably just heard I yelling fest..
"I doubt he even has a heart!" I yell back not caring we just got out of the car but there's only a couple people outside including Bryce and chase

"its lunch come on" she tells me laughing
"yeah yeah ill meet you there I have to go to the bathroom"
"okay see yeah" she says walking out of the class as I walk to the bathroom
After I do my business and wash my hands I touch up my hair and mascara
I walk out only to bump into a hard chest
I look up to see smithins
"watch where your walking?" chase asks
"sorry" I roll my eyes trying to walk away but he pushes me against the door putting his hands on the door aside from my head

"what were you really yelling about with maya today?" he asks in a serious tone
"w- what t- the part-y" I stutter

He hits the wall on the door hard enough to start bleeding making me jump
"t-that you were i- inlove with m-m me" I stutter looking into his eyes
He lets out a nervous chuckle and takes his arms away
"what?" he asks amused running his hands through his hair
"good to know you're not" I mumble
"yeah and what if I was huh" he smirks looking down at me

About 9 inches...
"but you're not" I laugh
"you don't know that" he mutters so I hear it as a whisper
And with that he walks into the lunchroom and I'm standing outside the bathroom door with my jaw on the floor
