"good morning maya!" I yell walking down the hall when I get to school

"Ella I haven't seen you in like forever!"  she yells hugging me

"we saw each other yesterday" I laugh pulling away

"so, what happened when you left I didn't see you?" she asks

I blush remembering what happened "n- nothing, he drove me home that's it"

"no no something happened tell me!" she yells

"we kissed that's it" I say looking anywhere but her

"what you kissed him!" she whispers yells

"no, he kissed me" I say

"omg I knew it" she whispers to herself

"knew what?" I ask

"he loves you!" she nudges me

"no, he doesn't stop saying that I even told him, and he said he didn't" I look around and find chase and a brunette kissing agent the lockers

I can feel my heart crack when I see it

he was just kissing me...

"see" I mumble

"whatever he's just passing time until he makes his next move"

"shut up" I swat her arm and she swat mine, so I do it again...

"whatever let's go to lunch" she finally says after our cat fight

"mhm" I giggle

When we get to the lunchroom we find our usual table, but Bryce is sitting there on his phone stuffing his face with pretzels.

"what are you doing at our table?" maya asks

"I'm eating and waiting for chase if he'll show" he says calmly

"oh" she replies as we sit

"Ella I think you broke chase" Bryce tells me after a long silence

"what?" I ask?

"after he dropped you off when he came back he was all like....happy" he raises his eyebrow

"uhm... t-that's cool I g- guess" I stutter

Maya and Bryce burst out laughing

"not funny!" I yell almost gaining attention

"calm your voice angel" Bryce tells me

"ew don't call me that"

I look around the cafeteria and find chase sitting at a girls table with the same brunette on his lap

He has a very straight deep death glare right now

Once he seems me looking he smirks and leans down the kiss the girl on his lap

Was he waiting for me to see that....

I mean it doesn't bother me...

I think.

"hey, I need to go to the bathroom" I tell maya and Bryce

"okay" maya says

I leave my bag and get up and run to the bathroom before the tears fall out

Why am I even crying there's no point

But he did it on purpose.

When I get into the bathroom I push my back against the wall and put my hands on my face sliding down

I can't just keep crying ever time something like this happens

Seconds later I hear the door bust open, but I don't stop my sobs or look up

"what the hell do you think your doing?" a familiar voice says

Shocker there

"you sure know how to cause a scene" I mumble

The door closes and I feel someone sit next to me

"are you okay, did Bryce say something?" chase asks me

"no" I use a reply for both

"well what happened? Do you like Bryce or something?" he asks getting annoyed

"you know what if your getting annoyed at me you can leave and why do you care you just kissed that girl" I snap looking up into his beautiful brown eyes

Yet there not filled with annoyance there filled with pity and an unreadable emotion

"I'm not annoyed, and suddenly this is my fault" he asks

"no" I whisper

"yes it is now tell me what I did" he demands

"you want to know why you would wait till I was looking to kiss her?" I ask

"can you not take a joke" he asks

"well I can't considering you're the one who kissed me just hours ago" I snap

He looks down and before he can answer I cut him off

"know I want to know, what was it that made you do it?" I snap again

"elli-"

Before he can finish a teacher walk in

"oh, am I interrupting sorry?" she asks

Not how I thought a teacher would react seeing a boy and a girl in a bathroom together

"no, he was just leaving, right?" I raise my brow looking into his glossy eyes

"yup" he whispers getting up and leaving without looking back
