1. False Alarm

This is my second ish horror story I hope you enjoy it.
This book is like a TV series so of course the chapters will be long but that's how most books are. Just stop and come back to it later

The reason why I called this first chapter False Alarm is not just because of the alarm that went off but the fact that Lesi (Aka me) loves everyone and cares deeply for the people. But she is still a little bit hostile and evil

Lesi

Finally, we are back in school. Well, I went back this Monday since the scientists were working on getting us a vaccine. But it has been a little shaky because I been looking at the news and nothing about the scientist.

*Text Message* It was from Rico...Yeah, I'm not gonna lie I have strong feelings for him, but I can't tell him because that's weird and some simp shit. We have been friends since like forever.

After that alarm I looked up and around the class as the school bell rang. I was making my way down the stairs as I saw everyone checking their phones in shock.

"Isn't that at nocca??" My eyes widened and I looked at my phone. I see people running for their lives on Instagram live.

"Yo....yo." The boy on live said he has about 1,000 views now. "Y'all I don't know but our teacher fell on the floor, then just attacked one of us. We are trying to run away from that now. We don't know what it is but it's something"

"Lesi" I look up to see one of my teachers grab my hand and take me to his desk. "Take this." He gives me a gold desert eagle. "Take my life now."

"Huh?"

"Dalesia..." His voice becomes raspy and he starts breathing hard "I took the vaccine...Please just take me away from here. I think it's gonna be the beginning of an infected apocalypse." His body starts to vein up and his eyes get lower "I hope my family is okay. Lesi take care of yourself... May God be with you..."

"God bless you." I aimed the gun at his head as he held on to his cross necklace and I shot him in his head as blood gushed out and splashed on the wall.

The announcements came on

Students and teachers please return home to your family immediately I repeat please return home to your family immediately!!

I ran to the front school door and looked outside. I got a text from my sister...

Don't run home, just go to church now.

Oh yeah great... How should I get there.... I look around the school and the street and see people running away and getting in their cars. I ran down the street towards the streetcar. Hopped on and sat down... What the fuck I thought to myself as I made my way to my church

30 minutes later

"Wait wait WAIT don't shut the door." I ran inside the gate of my church and backed away from the gate. I ran inside and the church looked sooo different. Instead of chairs leading to the stage. Some chairs are barricading the door and other chairs are lined against the wall. I looked around.

"Hey Lesi! I am so happy you are here" The pastor came towards me

"Where is my mom??"

"She's in the back" I went towards the back of the church and saw my mom laying... on the table and looking like she was through straight hell.
