*Fords Point of View
As I hurry, stumbling over nothing, towards the voice, I start to make out a shape. Theres color. Its a person. Its Dipper.
I started calling his name. He saw me and began to run away. What is the matter with him?
"Dipper! Its me! Your great uncle Ford!" I proclaim, chasing after him.
"Stop it! You're not real!" He cries out. As we run, the ground slowly starts to shift and rise. A maze grows out of the ground. I try to stay on top of it but to no avail. I try to follow him into the maze as ot shifts but quickly loose him.
"Dipper!" I call out. I hear no answer.
*Dippers Point of View
Run. Run. Run.
I can't do this. I know it's not real! Nobody is coming for me! Why won't it go away?
I just need to keep going. A place to hide. A place to hide! I find myself out of the maze as it shuts behind me. A door to nowhere appears and I throw it open. I step through and slam it shut. Theres no walls. Im just on the other side. It just makes sense.
I need to calm down. What was I at? I can't remember. Just start over.
1, 2, 4, 8. No.... Thats not right. 5, 3, 6. No. Nonononononono. I can't count. I've lost it!
"My name is Dip- Mason. Mason Pines. Im in a prison bubble created by Bill. Bill, uhhh. Bill Cipher! None of this is real. I just have to wait." I whisper to myself. It feels good. Figures emerge around me.
They're not real. They're not rea-
"Hey Dip Dop! Ready to come home?" Mabel ask. I look up at her with teary eyes. She's not- I don't even care. I just close my eyes shut.
"Trust no one. Trust no one." I whisper over and over, rocking back and forth.
"Dipper, my boy?" A large hand rests on my shoulder. Its Great Uncle Ford. But its not.
"Trust no one" I chant a little louder, pleading the apparition to disappear.
"I'm here Dipper. I'm so sorry," he wraps his arm around me. I open my eyes. Is this actually, real?
"You can't be real. You're never real. You- you always die!" I choke over my words.
"I promise I'll never-" he never finishes though, because a lazer blast makes him pop like a balloon. I shreak in fear and resume the fetal position.
"Dipper! We need to go, now." His voice returns. I don't have time to object before he picks me up and carries me away. This is new. Usually the illusion dies with them. Maybe- no. Thats just what Bill wants me to think. But this Grunkle Ford has shackels on. That seems like something I wouldn't come up with. Maybe. Just maybe.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10
I think that was close. I just shut my eyes. Whatever happens theres nothing I can do about it. But I feel almost safe for the first time since I've known I've been here.
And somehow, I actually fell asleep.
*Bill's Point of View
Sixer grabbed Pinetree just like I told him to. That kid is MESSED up. It was pretty easy too. This'll be fun.
When good ol' Fordsy finally made it out, the kid was asleep. He hasn't slept for more than ten minutes at a time for about ten weeks now. The purplish black under his eyes is a spectacular color.
I love it when people loose their minds. Its so, entertaining. Pinetree has it bad enough, but you should see Sixer! He is trying to stand tall. Like a tree. Whereas the kid is a puddle. The thing is, which one do you think would be easier to crush?
And that is just what I'll do. I'll crush the hope from them. The kid doesn't even have a spark anymore. Not really. But Fordsy's defiance is keeping his raging fire burning. As if he still has a choice. If he doesn't bend to my will, I'll torture the kid. Then the others. And once I get my hands on Stanley, Everything will fall perfectly in place.
Sixer actually thought he had a chance against me? Its all just games for me. He clued in that he was a pawn. But the cards are stacked against him. The dice are loaded. I got my get out of jail free card. I have the up up, down down, left right, left right, B, A, start, for your pathetic excuse for reality. I know every hack. Every code. Every shortcut, cheat and bonus level. Your turn Sixer, check mate. Its game over. I won.
You thought chess was no fun when you're the pawn? Just wait till your family is.
