~author's note~
Thanks for your patience with these updates! School is taking up a lot of my time so I can hardly write, much less post my writing. This chapter is pretty long I think, so that should hopefully make up for it!

~Agamya~
So far, I've learned this much. I am involved in the world of Greek mythology in some way. I am at a place called Camp Half-Blood. I have met two friendly people, a boy named Kade and someone named Kit. I have to go to a big house of some sort, to meet someone named Chiron.
"Hey, Agi, you ready?" Kit calls out, waiting for me outside the infirmary.
"Yeah, give me a sec!" I finish putting on the orange t-shirt and jog outside to meet my new friends. "I'm ready."
"Let's go then!" In chimes, Kade, smiling brightly. He leads the way, and Kit and I follow. We reach the front steps of the big house, and Kit walks up to the door. They knock three times, and shout, "Chiron! The new camper is here!"
A middle-aged man in a wheelchair comes outside. He stands up, and the wheelchair turns into the body of a horse. A centaur, I assume.
"Hello, Agamya, and welcome to Camp Half-Blood! I suspect Kit and Kade's briefing was quite short, so let me explain in some further detail. Follow me inside, and we'll have a little chat." He turns to Kade and Kit. "You two can go back to your cabins." The two nod simultaneously and walk away. "Come in," Chiron smiles and walks inside. I follow, closing the door behind me. He leads me to a parlor-seeming room and motions for me to have a seat. I comply, sitting on a sofa. He remains standing in his half-horse half-human form.
"I'd like to ask a few questions, if I may," I immediately request. Chiron nods for me to go ahead, seemingly unsurprised at my bluntness. "Firstly, what am I? I am not simply mortal, as I can see monsters and monsters can track me."
"Ah, yes, that is correct. You are not mortal, not completely. You, Agamya, are a demigod, otherwise known as a half-blood. You are half-god-"
"Half-mortal," I interrupt.
"Yes," he nods. "You have more questions?" I nod as well.
"Secondly, who is my godly parent? I assume I must have one if I am to be half-god."
"That I, unfortunately, can not answer. If your godly parent wants to claim you, they will send a sign. For now, you will be staying at the Hermes cabin. They take in anyone who hasn't been claimed by a god. I will take you to meet your head counselor now if you don't have any more questions."
"That is all for now."
"Then come along. If you have any other questions while you are settling in, I'm sure Kit or Kade would be happy to help, along with Connor Stoll, your head counselor." He walks outside, and I follow. We walk to an area where a bunch of cabins is organized. I follow Chiron to the Hermes cabin, number 11. He opens the door, and I walk inside with him right behind. A boy, around 16 years old, approaches us.
"Connor! Just the man I was looking for! This is Agamya. She will be staying here until she gets claimed. Please help her out and make her feel at home." Chiron turns to me. "Good luck settling in! Bye now." He exits the cabin, leaving the boy standing there and me.
"Welcome to the Hermes cabin! Let's find you a spot." He leads me through the cabin, which is a bit packed. We get to a spot with a little bed next to a bunk bed. "This'll be your bed. If you need any help getting settled in, I'll be over in the top bunk by the entrance!" With that, he walks away, leaving me alone with a small backpack and a tiny bed. I throw the bag down on my new mattress and realize that I'm pretty hungry. When was the last time I've eaten? I leave the cabin and venture out something to eat.
