TW: Mention of someones death and this sad

Logan wasn't like other kittens. As Janus would explain.

Logan stayed his natural self, but with more heightened senses and well he was a cat so he couldn't talk or tell the others it was him.

Although he still tried! He had to tell them. Maybe he could try and find away to bring himself back. The only problem though was that he didn't know how.

"What is he doing?" Remus asked.

He watched Logan drag a peice of paper across the floor and place it beside Virgil, then run off to find a pencil.

"Im not to sure?.." Virgil responded. "Maybe he is trying to write?"

"Cats can do that!?" Remus replied some what shocked.

"Well..no. But Logan is abit..different to other cats i suppose." Virgil hummed.

They both watched as the kitten returned with a led pencil and attempted to write something on the paper. Logan stepped away from the paper and looked up at Virgil.

"What does it say?" Remus asked with anticipation.

Virgil picked up the paper and looked at it closely. Could this be it! Had Logan managed to tell them!?

"Sorry to disappoint, but I can't read it." Virgil sighed rubbing the back of his neck and handing the paper over to Remus.

Logan's ears dropped and he sat with his head looking down.

'Did i just screw up my chance of them knowing? No Logan! You have to keep trying- right? This is all worth it isn't it?..'

Logan's thoughts swirled.

"I think i can read parts of this." Remus smiled.

Logan glanced up at Remus with pure happiness. How could he doubt himself now! Especially that he didn't hear what Remus had said before. But this might be it.

"Okay..so the parts i can read are," Remus mumbled.

" I " 

" logn"

" I no cus"

Both Virgil and Remus looked at the excited kitten for a second.

"I think its just words Rem.." Virgil mumbled quietly and picked up Logan.

"You think so?" Remus replied. "But he seemed really excited when i said i could read it."

"Maybe he just saw something outside.." Virgil said shyly.

Logan's heart broke. It shattered into a million peices that would take years for him to repear he felt. He teared up and sat there in Virgil's arm's quietly. Watching Remus read over the lines he had said outloud.

"I logn, i no cus.."

"I logan, i no cuss?"

"I Logan i no cas??"

"Remus please..!" Virgil said nearly in tears.

Remus paused. He looked up at Virgil apologetically. 

"Im sorry..Virgin.." Remus sighed.

"No..no i apologise..i just." Virgil whimpered.

"You still blame yourself for his death?..dont you." Remus added.

"Yeah.." Virgil mumbled.

"It wasn't your fault V! It was that stupid drunk driver!!" Remus growled.

"Well if i hadn't gotten angry and started an argument with him, he wouldn't of left and he would still be alive!!" Virgil yelled back.

' but i am alive..! Im right here..im with you! '

Logan desperately wanted to yell, but it came out as a soft meow and a hiss.

Virgil and Remus looked at the black cat. His eyes a peircing dark blue that reminded Virgil of Logan's..just like a galaxy.

The kittens ears where pinned back and he clearly looked upset from Virgil and Remus's view.

"He isn't a normal kitten! Theres no way a cat could just write on a piece of paper or even understand letters!" Remus shouted.

The uncomfortable silence that stirred slowly drowned away. Virgil was to tired for this and Remus had so many thoughts about this.

"Me and Lo will head to bed.." Virgil said as he wiped tears away.

"Of course. Umm..just dont think about-"

"Yeah..i know." Virgil interupted his friend.

He gave him a soft smile before heading into the room. Remus waved and headed to his room aswell. He had to write all this stuff down or he would forget all about it.

Virgil gently placed Logan on the bed and headed into the bathroom with some pj's.

Logan layed down and closed his eyes.

' i got ran over?..why can't i remember that. Or anything of my death."

Logan layed still trying to remember anything of that day. All he knew was it was night time. And new information. He had got ran over, but how and what was Virgil and him arguing about. They never used to argue about anything. 

His thoughts got cut off as the bed shifted. He opened his eyes to see virgil in a pair of shorts and a short sleeved My Chemical Romance shirt. Virgil got comfy and Logan moved so he was up against Virgil's chest.

Virgil patted Logan's head gently.

"He would of loved you..your so smart like him.." Virgil whispered.

"And he loved cats.." He continued. " i wish he just stayed inside, but...i was so stupid to even start the argument.."

Logan looked at Virgil sadly. He stood up and touched Virgil's face with one of his paws, then rubbed agaisnt his cheek.

Virgil giggled quietly and pulled Logan into a soft hug. Soon they both drifted off to sleep. logan placed in Virgil's arms and Virgil holding him close to his chest ever so gently.

Logan fell asleep before Virge, but before Virgil had fallen asleep himself, he left a kiss at the top of Logan's head. Still not knowing the small kitten was one of his best friends.
