My best friend is..

Logan meowed loudly in Remus's ear. Just loud enough to wake him up and have Remus jolt forward. Logan clinged onto Remus as he jolted forward and nearly fell off his shoulder.

"What th- Lo are you alright?" Remus panicked to laughed.

Logan dug his claws deeper into Remus's shirt. He held on to it like his life depended on it and if he let go he would fall. Remus chuckled and picked up the kitten with one hand, holding Logan up and then placing him on his lap.

"Why did you wake me Lolo? Something happening?" Remus asked Logan.

Logan cut back into his senses and shook his head, than looked up at Remus with his dark blue eyes. They seemed emotionless. The same stare Remus would get when he was human aswell and if Remus was being honest it was Logan's natural stare and look. He never shown much emotion back then.

"You still have your stare Logan. " Remus teased alittle.

Logan crinkled up his nose in disagreement before looking back at Remus's door. Remus raised an eyebrow till he heard Virgil.

"Are you attempting to tell me someones here?" Remus once again teased.

Logan nodded. Ignoring the teasing, they both found it funny to annoy eachover in there own ways. That would change though when Logan finds away to get himself back. He doesnt want to be in this body forever and feels annoyed sometimes when he cant make Virgil believe Remus.

"Alright." Remus yawned. He streched his arms out then picked up Logan.

He got out of bed and placed Logan on his shoulder. He threw on some pants, then opened his door. As he looked over at the kitchen he nearly tripped on nothing.

"Ha, i didnt think- after the funeral- you-...." Remus passed.

He was even more shocked than Virgil was. Skinner. Skinner was infront of him, with a coffee in hand and Virgil seemed okay with it. Remus and skinner aren't close. They dont clash or fight. But he never thought he would see him again. Not after Logan's death atleast.

"Hey, Remus.." Skinner smiled shyly.

"Abit early for you to be here." Remus replied.

From Logans point of view, Remus seemed angry. Guess he wasnt happy Skinner was here or the fact he had woken him up so he could see him.

"Hows life been treating ya?" Skinner asked. He sounded unsure and wasnt entirely sure what to say to Remus.

"Its been good.." Rmeus responded.

Virgil seemed uncomfortable now. Remus and Skinner looked like they could both pash out at any moment and fight, but Virgil guessed and hoped they wouldnt.

Remus picked Logan up from his shoulder and hugged him. Holding him protectivly. Remus was the only one who new Logan was the little kitten and he was not ready to tell Skinner. Not in a million years would he ever tell Skinner.

"Well..im going tom ay back down. Uh..nice seeing you i guess?" Remus mumbled, but didn't wait for a reply.

He ducked back into his room with Logan and closed the door.

'I didnt mean for that to happen..im sorry Remus. If i had known..'

Logan meowed. Of course he could speak properly and he couldnt apologise to Remus. Yet he didnt regreat waking him up aswell, seeing Skinner was what Logan wasnt expecting and he wanted to see Remus's reaction. Yet if he knew it was going to be that tense he would of left him be. 

"You must have had a reason for that. Hm?" Remus asked Logan.

He looked down at the small fragile kitten he held in his hands. How was this the tall, lanky and loud Logan he once new? Sure the kitten had the same eye colour as him and was quite skinny, it made Rwmus wonder how this happened to Logan?

And 8t made him think about how he died. Was the driver really drunk that night. Or had Logan stepped on the road himse-

"Stop it Remus.." he said out loud and looked away from the kitten.

"Why, why must you think these things." Remus mumbled.

He looked back down at Logan and sighed. He hot back into his bed and placed Logan beside him.

"Get some rest Lo..i know you were up most the night." Remus said and patted his head.

Logan cant deny that he wasnt up all night. He was worried. And decided a rest would do him good. So he layed down and curled up agaisnt remus's chest.

Remus was warm, and comfy to lay against. He drifted off to sleep before Remus and only hoped he wouldnt wake up to a yelling mess.
