POV: Allison
I was in a very good mood in the morning. As usual, I woke up before Susie, and to my surprise before May, and the twins as well. However, the only person up before me was April.
"Good morning April!"
"Good morning Ms. Pendle," she replied with a smile. "Just so you know, a Mr. Connor arrived last night with Lilith Bell. Also, you're friends Mr. Franks, Mr. Lawrence, and Mr. Polk arrived last night with all the necessary supplies to cook all the food for Ms. Winter's daughter's birthday."
I sighed. "Well this is going to be an interesting morning..."
She chuckled at that. "Indeed."
"I'm going to go prepare breakfast for everyone."
"The servants could..."
I cut her off. "I want to," I insisted. "Besides, I really want to take a look at the kitchen in this place..."
---
The estate's kitchen made me want to move in. It was cooking heaven. By the time everyone was awake and in the dining room, all the food was ready. I went a little overboard, but nobody seemed to mind.
"Remind me, why don't you live here?" I asked the twins.
"Too lonely for just us." They replied.
"I think that's silly," Lilith said. "This place is cool."
"If it helps, I'd be willing to live here with you guys." May offered.
I gave Susie puppy eyes, and she sighed. "That's not fair! You know I can't say no to that face."
That made me beam, and I turned back to the twins. "How about now?"
Lynn and Lilly looked at each other, then at Lilly, who gave them puppy eyes, Then the twins looked back at each other, and nodded. FInally they turned back to me. "We're fine with that."
April chuckled. "I'll make the necessary arrangements."
"I still can't believe you two are absurdly wealthy..." Sammy muttered.
"No kidding." Tom grunted.
"Same here." Wally agreed.
"I figured it out ages ago." Norman remarked, causing everyone to look at him. "What?"
Susie chuckled. "Classic Norman. Figuring it out first, and not saying a word."
"It wasn't my business, so I had no reason to say anything," he said.
I shrugged at that. "That's fair." I then turned to the twins. "You two are still interested in being my assistance for all the cooking?"
"Yep!" They cheered.
"That's good, because I look forward to you two helping me."
"Can I help you too?" Susie asked hopefully.
"NO!!" Everyone immediately said in response.
She sighed. "Damnit."
I patted her shoulder. "Sorry love, but you're not allowed in the kitchen period."
---
"Mr. Drew, can we talk?" I asked as the twins and I walked up to him.
He nodded. "Sure Allison."
"Shay's birthday is in a few days, and I have a lot of food to cook. The Bell twins have volunteered to be my assistants, but I'm not sure if I can get everything ready by Friday."
