It was a manly voice, a deep and a husky one🔥. She turned around and descried a guy with a sweet and simple smile but his beard and mustache (properly trimmed and shaped) was way more than an exterminator , adding an extra element to his killer face.
She was thoroughly stunned, not just by his looks, but because it was the very first time that someone had spoken to her in the university and that too, a tall and handsome guy!
"Excuse me! Are you listening? ", he enquired.
She got back to her senses. "Y-Y-Yes. .? ", she stuttered.
"Are you waiting for your order to come?", he repeated.
She could still not get over the fact that someone was talking to her. " Yes"
"You are in 4th sem right?Then, how is it possible that you don't know how things work here in Sinoyat?", he questioned.
- " Yes, I'm in -- in-- 4th sem. But I'm a new admission, a transferred case. "
"Oh! So I think, I'll have to introduce you to our university", he said with a huge smile on his face. "May I? ", he added.
" Yes.. I would love to know everything", said Kritika.
Kritika was feeling a bit shy but also happy deep down. She was expecting him to settle down on the chair next to her. But, he instead asked her to go with him on a round of the university and explore every corner of it while he throws some light on Sinoyat's working.
He described her everything. It was sad for her to know that no one would pay attention to her until and unless she's a part of a huge group of friends. And this was the very reason she was ignored in the canteen as well.
"You should not sit alone everytime. By the way, feel free to ask if you want some help or something.", he said.
-" Hmm"
They had been walking and talking since 1 and a half hour now, with Kritika answering in a 'hmm' or an 'oh!' everytime. But it didn't feel odd. Both of them were enjoying each other's company.He didn't make her feel uncomfortable in anyway or by any chance.
They had missed two of their lectures unknowingly.
All the lectures were about to get over, when Kritika's phone rang. It was her mother.
"Bache, aaj hospital jana tha, remember? To, agar ho sakae to ye last lecture miss kr lo and just come back home, otherwise we'll get late. ", said her mother.
-" Thek hai mamman, I'm coming", she said and realized that they had missed their lectures . She bid him goodbye and left.
She came back home with a glowing face.
Her mother could figure out that something was going on in her head but thought of asking her once they come back from the hospital.
