Ni-Ki's POV
Today was our junior highschool graduation. Time flies very quickly, isn't it? Well, it was very exciting because guess what, I got an award! Not just an award but it was for being the Top 2 among the students in our school. I already knew I couldn't beat NaBi for the Top 1. My parents were very happy that they even allowed me to join a dance entertainment called LEAD entertainment together with my sister, Konon. It was one of the best thing that happened to me.
NaBi also joined. Well, just secretly. She told me that her mom doesn't want her to continue dancing. She thought it was useless and not related to their business. It was sad to know because NaBi loves everything about dancing and I love seeing her dance. It was her happiness. It took us awhile before we sneaked NaBi out from her driver after school just for the audition. All three of us got accepted, of course.
Konon and NaBi became close as well since they're both girls. They hanged out with other girls quite often. I sometimes felt a little bit jealous but at the same time, I'm happy to see her getting along with other people. The three of us always hang out in the dance studio and even held workshops together.
After the graduation ceremony, we took pictures with some friends, classmates, and teachers before heading back home. It was just upsetting because NaBi didn't have a chance to take photos with me and my family. After the ceremony, her mom dragged her away from the crowd as if everyone in school has some kind of disease. She didn't even talk to me except when we got awarded on stage. We had our speech and stayed on stage for awhile. We just greeted each other but other than that, we never got time together. And since that day, NaBi never showed up.
It's been 7 months since I last saw her. That was our graduation. She didn't call or message me at all. Konon was sad, my family were sad and I, was sad and missed her very much. I was wondering if something happened to her or worst, if they moved to abroad permanently. She once mentioned to me that they owned a house in France where her mom managed her business.
I still continue dancing and even start teaching dance classes. I never had a problem with my mom about dancing anymore since I'm still doing well in school. I learned a lot of genres and still want more. I really wished NaBi was here. She would probably laughed at me when I fell once while learning acrobatics for the first time.
Today, I was just sitting in our living room. There was a storm and I got nothing to do. It was Saturday so that means no school, no dance, and no work for Dad. My mom was in the kitchen with my dad, maybe cooking something delicious. My sister was in her room, probably still sleeping.
