Today was my flight to Seoul, South Korea. I will be missing my family but this is gonna be the first step to reach my dream, as an idol. I still remembered the day when I finally decided what I wanted to be for the rest of my life. Thanks to her.

My family woke up very early to send me off to the airport and bid goodbye. Mom never stopped crying and telling me to be careful. Dad, I know for sure, was just hiding his tears while stopping Mom to cry. My sister, Konon, was also acting cool but I know she wants to go with me as well. I failed not to cry since this is my first time to be away from them and I won't be back until I successfully debut. That's my promise. I bid goodbye to them and follow those people who will be riding the same plane with me. The company told me that they will fetch me once I arrived at Incheon Airport. They will also accompany me to the homestay my parents booked for me and will tour me to the company the next day.

As I waited for the plane to take off, I glanced to the person beside me who was sleeping right after we reached our seat. I just smiled while reaching out to hold her hand.

3 weeks before the flight...

"Please NaBi, tell me who did this to you?" My tears can't stop falling from my eyes as I hold her closer. She won't stop crying either. "Why didn't you tell me? I thought I'm your best friend?" I never imagine the sweet and bubbly girl that I'm always with, was experiencing this kind of cruelty in life. She never complained to whatever bad things she gone through her days. She never told me..Especially these things..

I suddenly got a crazy idea. I faced her and started wiping her tears as I tried to stop myself from crying. She got confused since she still haven't told me anything but I knew it already. Even if she won't tell me the details, I already knew it's her parents who did this to her. And I will certainly keep her away from those heartless creatures!

"I'm sorry.. for not telling you anything. For not asking for your help and to keep these to you." She started. Well, I know she still felt the need to explain this to me even if she knew that I already knew who did this to her. She tried not to cry when she start telling me when it started, who did it and how they did these to her. I tried not to curse whenever she mentioned her stepdad and what pains me more is that her mom knows everything about this.

After she finished telling what happened, she keeps saying 'sorry'. I don't know what to say so I tried to calm myself from leaving her and going to her house to kill. I know I can't do anything like that so I stopped thinking about it anyway.

I took a deep breath and looked at her. "You know me very well and you must know that I won't let you go back there especially now that I already know what will they do to you again". Her facial expression tells me that I am saying non-sense since we both knew our parents won't let us do what I am thinking but she held my hand and wait for me to continue what I will be saying.

We managed to start this escape plan by booking a ticket for her to Korea and continue this plan from there. I let her booked a hotel near the airport to spend the night since we will be flying the next day. I kept on messaging her using the new phone I bought for her so her parents won't be able to contact her anymore. She was very hesitant at first about this plan but after a few convincing, she gave up. I knew she was just scared but deep inside her, she knew she needs help.

We soon landed at the Incheon airport and started walking to the entrance. I told the company staff that our flight got delayed gor 5 hours and will go straight to the homestay as soon as we arrived. I told them not to worry since I have the address and can manage to handle these things by myself. We took a taxi and arrived to the homestay safely. I couldn't explain this excitement that I'm feeling and the happiness that we are both feeling since we are on this together. We checked the room I got and start setting up a plan. We agreed that she would stay here until her wounds and bruise healed completely. I wouldn't mind it since she needs a place to stay while studying Korean language with me. While I start my training next week, she will look for a job to keep her busy. We won't have any issues with money we will spending since she had her personal bank account with the money she saved since grade school and my parents promised to give me allowance to buy what I need here.

After arranging our things, we decided to go out to get familiar with the places here. Our cheeks got hurt from smiling since we both always dreamed to visit here together someday. Finally, we are here together and I will do everything to keep her away from pain and especially from her parents.

We ate from a restaurant we found near Suseo station where our homestay is located. There's a lot of people outside since it's night time already. Some will be going home, some will on their way to start their jobs, while some will spend the night somewhere. We also went to a mall to buy some things and clothes we need. On our way, we found a skin care shop that needs some staffs so NaBi tried to apply. I waited outside while she did her short interview with the store manager. After a few minutes, I felt a tap at my back and found a smiling NaBi. Luckily, her face did not have any bruise anymore so her pretty face shines brightly especially tonight. I knew she will be accepted to any job she will apply for being optimistic and hardworking. Her physical features and skills are just a bonus!

We went back to our homestay and decided to call it a day. I need to get some rest for tomorrow's company tour and contract signing. NaBi will stay here since her work will start next week. We washed up and prepared our bed. Yes, we will sleep in the same bed together. There's nothing wrong with it since we are best friends. We both won't mind it after all. I guess...
