The bell was chinking as the two tall men entered the cafe nearby their university. Mew said he had an idea for Gulf when the latter said he was going to seek for a job to earn money. And Mew meant to introduce Gulf to one of his friend who owned a coffee shop near their university.

The tallest guy in the room swung his head to the entrance door and he immediately plastered a friendly smile, "Hi, Mew? What's up?" He waved his hand while his another one was busy pouring the coffee he had mixed in a cup.

Mew only waved his hand as his greeting and brought both Gulf and himself took the table by the big glass window. Gulf, who had been all quiet since they departed from the campus finally opened his mouth to ask, "What are we doing?"

His confused face was amusing to Mew, so the latter chuckled, "What? You said you want a job. I'm giving you one." Mew answered as he leaned back and folded his arms.

Gulf's eyes went wider after hearing Mew's purpose bringing him here. "I-I never—,"

"I know. You never ask. And you never will. I know that much, Gulf." His playful smile was fading away as he put on his serious expression, "This is what I want. I want to give you this chance. I've got reference for you and I'm sure Jaa would be delighted to hire you. Don't worry."

"No, but—,"

"Sshhh." Mew shushed him. He leaned forward to Gulf who was sitting across him, "This is the most thing I can do right now since you refuse to be seen with me around home and campus. So don't reject this one, please?" He begged as he placed his hand above Gulf's back of hand.

The other guy flinched due to the direct skin contact he got from his own crush. Gulf looked down shyly, he couldn't decide whether he should be happy or worried. What if other students catch them here? It would be Mew's lost for hanging around a loser like Gulf. He just didn't want Mew to feel ashamed.

But Gulf couldn't help it. He felt happy and he was kind of anticipating for the new job he got and the new start he could have with Mew. In this very own coffee shop. So Gulf nervously gulped down his uneasiness and nodded in agreement.

A smile crept back on Mew's face. Gulf felt Mew's hand squeezing his in excitement. Gulf was saved from his own awkwardness when the guy named Jaa approached them.

"Dude, you should have told me if you're going to come!" Jaa patted Mew's shoulder, "So who's this cute guy?" He looked at Gulf's way with curiousity washed over his face.

"You said you're looking for a part-timer. I've brought you one." Mew smiled as he pointed Gulf with his chin.

Jaa raised his brows without looking away from Gulf as he processed the new information he got. "What's your name?"

"I-it's Gulf, sir." Gulf politely nodded his head.

Hearing the new guy calling him 'sir' made Jaa a little bit confused. Wasn't this Gulf guy supposedly Mew friend? He even wore the engineering jacket like Mew. The tall guy shooed away his own monologue as he reached out his hand, "Hi, I'm Jaa, Mew's boyfriend." He playfully teased the pale guy.

Mew was so used to his friend's weird way in introducing himself to everyone Mew knew like this, so the pale guy only rolled his eyes in annoyance.

Gulf failed to sense the joke between the two guys beforw him, it would be rude to let his soon to be boss' hand hung in the air, so Gulf closed the hand with his. He stood up and bowed down a little.

Jaa chuckled seeing a meek yet polite guy in front of him. "Owh, Mew, you should have brought him sooner. He's cute. I like him already."

"Then, it's official. You're hired, Gulf." Mew showed his smile. Even if Jaa didn't find Gulf interesting, Mew would pester his friend to hure Gulf.
