As if his head got hit again, Gulf was waking up with a great headache from his sleep. Or maybe it wasn't a sleep, but rather he went unconscious after experiencing the sudden revelation that hit him like a truck. The rest was history. Gulf didn't remember what else happened after the black out.

When he realized he was already in a room that allegedly one of the rooms in Mew's big house. It still felt surreal how he was actually living in Mew's yard all this time and that he had known Mew since forever.

Yet, Gulf still found himself hard to remember any memories of Mew in his life. While his head was throbbing like hell, the other guy came into the room as he brought the lunch they missed earier due to Gulf's curiousity.

Mew walked faster to Gulf's side when he saw the other man was holding his head. Mew put down the tray on the nightstand before he kneeled down next to Gulf. "Are you hurt? Where does it hurt?" He asked worrily as he ran his long digits between Gulf's jet black hair, meeting with Gulf's long fingers there.

"Who are you?"

"...Gulf...?" Mew was shocked to hear that question coming from Gulf. He was afraid that Gulf was getting another trauma in his head.

"What are we... Mew..?" Gulf's sad eyes kept lingering at Mew's dark orbs. The man was trying to search for the answer himself, but Mew's gaze was unreadable. "How come I live in the same house as you...?" He threw another question, yet Mew was still keeping his mouth closed.

Mew licked his thin lips nervously, his eyes were trying to avoid Gulf's that were prying at him. He just didn't know what to tell and what not to tell. Mew was afraid that it would be too much for Gulf to take if he told the entire thing to him.

"I...." Mew started to talk dryly, as if there was a lump that hindered him from talking. While on the other hand, Gulf was putting his whole attention to Mew, waiting to know the truth that he had lost.

"We're friends. We have always been the best ones." A single information from Mew had succeeded putting tears lingered on Gulf's eyes. The boy felt the urge to cry, yet he held it.

Seeing Gulf biting down his lower lip made Mew's hand which were on Gulf's temple slid down until his thumb brushed over Gulf's plump lips. The other guy didn't avert his gaze from Mew's and his eyes kept welling up until they couldn't contain the tears anymore.

Mew's another hand was fast to wipe off the streaming tears before they reached the boy's chin. Witnessing how this single fact about them being friends had caused Gulf crying made Mew decided not to disclose all things.

"Why didn't you tell me this...?" Gulf's strained voice questioned the other guy. It was apparent that he tried to surpress the overwhelming emotion he was having.

Mew looked down just so he could avoid seeing Gulf crying a river because of him. His hands were letting go of Gulf's cheeks when Gulf himself kept them in place by his own hands. That made Mew trailed his eyes back to Gulf's eyes, they stared into each other for a moment before the tan guy mumbled, "I'm sorry.."

The other guy never thought the apology would be coming from Gulf. It should have been Mew who apologized, not the other way around. "Gulf, I—,"

His words were halted when Gulf said, "I'm sorry for not recognizing you, Mew.." Another drop of tears rolled down, seeping in Mew's hand on Gulf's cheek. "I'm a bad friend..." Gulf mumbled.
