Days went by abruptly that a month had passed and they didn't even notice. Being a senior in college was no joke. They all buried their heads to the books, reports, and researches they needed to graduate. Josh and Jia were completely bff's now. Adrein was still in observance to Jia trying to find answers to his questions. What bothers him though was that, the more he gets to know Jia, the more he sees Mara in her.

The gang was having a good time on their favorite coffee shop on a cold windy afternoon.

"What's taking them so long?" Gabby asked as she sat beside Yaz facing Adrein and Michael. They were waiting for Josh and Jia to arrive.

"They were probably stuck somewhere eating or doing some silly pranks Josh would come up with." Michael answered Gabby.

"Aren't they cute?" It was Gabby.

"Yeah. Sure they are. Josh seemed so happy with her, looks like he finally found a new bestfriend." Yaz mentioned.

Gabby then wondered, "What if they are twins? 'Cause they probably know what each other is thinking... and feeling... I guess. Sometimes they were laughing so hard and then they would argue... then they would be bff again."

Adrein catched Gabby's curiousity and inserted his suspicion about Jia. "Don't you guys find it wierd? I mean... how she manage to befriend Josh in no time?" He looked at everyone seeking for an agreement. "Josh and I are classmates since preparatory but we aren't friends until second grade."

"And not until third grade in my case." Michael added.

"Well... I don't think we will be friends if not for Mara. He's Mara's childhood bestfriend and Mara's like a sister to me." Yaz uttered.

"Mmmm.... are we even friends? 'Cause I think we're not. We just happened to be in the same circle of friends."

Everyone chuckled hearing Gabby's comment. Then Michael questioned, "How did you manage to bear with him for years?"

"I love Mara." Gabby simply answered. "He's Mara's bestfriend, so, I would have to deal with him if I wanna keep her."

Everyone was silenced by Gabby's words. Then Yaz spoke, "Looking back, it was Mara who brought us all together. I met her when we moved here back in fourth grade. We were classmates in Mary's School for Girls and we easily became friends for she's nice and friendly. Then, I got to meet Josh when I visited her home once." Yaz stopped for a second and looked at Adrein and Michael. "Later that year, I got acquianted to some of the students of St. Stephen's School for Boys because Mara had a huge crush to one of them, who happens to be Adrein."

The three giggled teasing Adrein, then Michael said in between laughters, "So we met at Mara's birthday party back in fifth grade because Josh said that Mara wants him to bring Adrein and Adrein insisted that I should go with him." He looked at Adrein then said, "I couldn't forget how she adored you back then. You used to ask me for whatever reason you can say or do to avoid her. I remembered, he even stayed at school for one long damned hour after class without no one around because she's waiting at the gate for him." Everyone was now bursting into laughter. Michael shook his head and rubbed his now teary eyes, caused by too much joy. "How did she know you again, Adrein?"

Adrein can't help but smile reminiscing the old days. "She used to stop by at the school gate waiting for Josh every afternoon, that's where I first saw her. She didn't notice me yet back then, until second grade when Josh and I were already friends. I was walking with Josh to the main gate and she was waiting for him as usual, then Josh introduced us."

"Wait," Michael interrupted, "where's that part you told me you couldn't forget the way she looked at you, something that gives you goosebumps you say?"
