The three young lads decided to keep their conversation from the girls. The very next day, at the University, they all meet up on a bench outside the library where a huge tree provides shelter to the by-standers. When Jia arrived, her eyes met with Adrein and she quickly looked away getting a feeling of awkwardness about what happened at the cafè. Michael noticed the change of atmosphere in Adrein the moment he saw Jia, then he smirk.

"Did you had a good sleep?" Michael interestingly asked Jia for they haven't seen each other since this morning. They were now all busy with the researches, studies and all the requirements they needed to graduate.

"Yup! Had a good one." Jia smiled at him. "By the way, where's Josh?"

"Haven't reached him, he's probably whinning to his professor right now about his research." Gabby giggled.

"Josh is a lot better than you." Adrein said without hesitation.

"Whoah!", Michael tried hard not to laugh.

Gabby looked at Adrein with burning eyes ready to grab him at once.

"Adrein!" Yaz stepped in as usual.

"What? I just thought that's what Josh would probably say if his here."

Gabby rolled her eyes and decided to let it go. They chattered as usual but Jia remained to keep her distance from Adrein. Michael was now the one observing the two, he noticed that Jia became cautious of her movement and remained aloof to Adrein. Michael knew that before Adrein confronted Jia at the cafè it was him who's uncomfortable only at the sight of her, so in his mind, he can't help but smile to the sudden twist of fate.

Just when Gabby was about to lose her patience waiting, Josh came running accross the field.

"Sorry guys." He said gasping for breath. "Been doing interviews for my paper."

"You want a drink?" Jia worriedly asked. "I have some if you'd like." She offered the bottled water sitting beside her on the bench.

"Thanks!" He grabbed and gulped the water emptying the bottle.

"So, shall we?" Yaz coiled her left arm to Gabby's waist and grabbed Jia's hands by her right. The three ladies walked side by side as the three lads followed.

Michael, Adrein and Josh walked behind the girls as they watched them chatting happily.

"So, where have you been really?" Adrein asked Josh.

"Aren't we going to gather more information? We won't find any on the internet. It looks like the information about her family was kept confidential. Aside from the Diamond Empire Group, I can't find anything at all."

"Indeed. I tried to look for it once." Adrein muffled.

"Perks of being rich. It's for their own security as well." Michael said.

"Right. So...I went outside to grab something that would help." Josh let out a devilish smile and took something from his pocket.

"Gummies?" Michael asked in confusion as he saw the three pieces of individually packed gummies on Josh's hands.

Adrein smiled and nodded comprehending what was playing on Josh's mind. However, Michael can't seem to follow.

"Just watch, Michael", Josh tapped Adrein's shoulder, "Adrein and I know Mara better."

Their eyes shifted to the ladies walking in their front still busy with all the chatting.

"Jia!", Josh called her out.
