Lily's POV

It has been a week already when Yellow told me that we were soulmates, and it still makes me smile as I now have someone to send my life with. Yellow unfortunately has to go back, hence the waiting I've been doing for a week.

Lying in bed, I am imagining scenarios in my head of us both, walking silently in the shore at night, talking quietly and cuddling in bed, all of the possible things we could do together. I grinned as I slowly sat up, needing to go to work at the restaurant.

As I was walking towards the restaurant, I was thinking again about Yellow Diamond. It is like my world revolves around her, but I do not really care as I really think that it does. I just hope that it's the same for her.

Yellow's POV

"Incompetent fools! Do you have any idea what you've done?!" I shouted at them. They just destroyed something important that'll make White rage. "You better fix this, or I'll shatter all of you!" I pointed at who I appointed as the head of the project.

"I'm sorry my diamond, yes my diamond" they stuttered as this heavy aura coming from Yellow settled over them.

"Leave now!" Yellow began rubbing at her eyebrows as a massive headache is settling over her. The gems saluted and ran away from the throne room, scared of what Yellow Diamond might do to them.

Yellow sighed as all of her missions and the biggest problem that she has was all over and done with. She smiled gently as she remembered Lily, thinking that she can finally go and see her. She marched towards the personal quarters of Blue Diamond intending to tell her where I was going and what is truly happening in my life.

Yellow's POV

"Blue?" I knocked on the door and as blue told me to come in, I slowly walked in her room, pondering what her reaction would be.

"Yes Yellow?" Blue stood up and walked me over a chair. I stood back up and started to pace, not seeing the worried look that yellow was giving me.

"Yellow, what is it? You're making me worry here." I stopped and looked at Blue, seeing her agitated and worried made me feel guilty.

"Blue, do you remember White Diamond telling us about soulmates?" I looked away after asking her, feeling my palms begin to sweat. Blue was silent, the look of deep thought is present in her face.

"Ah yes I do remember that talk. But what about it?" Blue frowned at me, making me gulp reflexively.

"Blue, that was true, I just found my soulmate." Blue smiled widely clearly in shock on what I said.

"Really?! That's wonderful news, Yellow! So who is it? Come on, tell me!" Blue jumped up and held both of my hands, clearly eager to know my significant other. I smiled as I thought of her, wanting to beam back to Earth as soon as possible.

"Um, you just met her Blue. She was the one who I'm with when you saw me on Earth" I looked up and saw Blue's mouth wide open in shock. I smirked as this is the first time that I saw blue looking so shell shocked.

Blue closed her mouth but then it fell again, not quite comprehending the situation. "What?! Seriously? But... are you sure that she's the one? I mean, she's human, Blue, and her lifespan is very short." Blue looked me in the eye worriedly. I don't know what to say to her. I didn't really think about the possibility of death. I'm also quite shocked as I thought that Blue Diamond would not be supportive about it, but I guess she truly believes about the concept of soulmates as what White Diamond told us.
