Your POV

Hoseok opens his arms and I gladly accept them.

"Aww, thank you so much but this really wasn't necessary.", I say.

"No no, new neighbours, new memories to make. Let's make sure there's plenty of good ones.", he smiles.

I smile too but then frown. What does he mean 'let's make sure there's plenty of good ones'? Isn't all of them meant to be good?

"Aren't all of the memories here meant to be good?", I blurt and then curse at myself internally.

He looks at me intently, "Y/N, you're a human, I'm a human too. We all know that life isn't all good. What's important is to stay happy whilst we can and get through the hard times together when we face them. Those who stay after a storm, are true friends.", he explains gently.

I'm in awe of his knowledge, "Wow."

"No more chatter, let's get in.", he points to the house.

I excitedly grab Yoongi's hand and pull him in. We go to the living room and the side table is decorated with all sorts of foods and treats. I remember what Mum said, she said to never eat food from a stranger, it could be poisoned. But the memory is short-lived; she's in another life now.

"Come on, have what you like. You must be exhausted after the journey.", Hoseok gives me a cupcake.

"Thank you.", I take a bite, "Oh it's so delicious. Who made it?"

"Oh you'd be surprised to know.", he says and goes and pulls the thick velvet curtains apart.

"Surprise!", Jin and Taehyung shout in unison.

Yoongi POV

Both Y/N and I jump as they shout.

"You two?", I quiz, confused.

"Yes, us two.", Tae beams.

"How's the food?", Jin questions.

"Absolutely amazing. Who's the head chef?", Y/N asks.

"Me! Duh.", Jin laughs.

Y/N takes another cupcake and stuffs it in to her mouth, "I can't believe it, this is like a bite of heaven."

"What are you two doing here?", I repeat.

"Well you see, you haven't only earned Hoseok as your neighbour but us as well. We only live five minutes away from here and when we heard you guys were coming, we had to come.", Tae explains.

"But why didn't you tell me earlier?", I enquire.

"It's supposed to be surprise idiot.", Jin chuckles.

"Since you've cooked once Jin, I'll be asking you again and again for some more.", Y/N teases.

"My pleasure.", Jin says welcomingly.

Your POV

After fuelling up on the amazing selection of foods, we all sit around the sofas and just chill and chat like we're friends from age old. I find myself laughing and smiling. In this moment, I'm happier than ever to have left behind a life of power and settle in to something simpler. Something flashes across my mind and I instantly freeze. I had two choices, either I left family for him or him for family. I chose the first. Why is it that I can't have all? I may sound selfish but I just wish for once that I was born in a close-knit family without all these feuds.

"Is anything wrong?", Hoseok notices the chilly air around me almost instantly.

I confine in him, "I... I just guess I miss my family a little bit and I'm loving my new life but it seems suddenly so daunting as well."

"Y/N, where is your heart most happy?", he asks seriously.

"Here most definitely."

"But where does your mind linger?"

"In my mansion."

"Then it's your choice. You've written yourself two chapters. You're the author and only you have the pen of your fate. You can choose which chapter you'll turn the page on.", his wise words touch me.

"Thank you.", I smile at him and get up, I need to think about what he said.

Yoongi POV

Y/N picks up my hand which is around her shoulder and removes it.

She gets up, "Excuse me, I'll be back in a bit."

She goes up the stairs and disappears. I look around. Happy people, happy places. As much as I love this, my family instinct kicks in. This is where I've always dreamt of bringing the situation. Y/N is finally away from the safety of her family and I can now do whatever I want. I try to dispose of the thought immediately, I haven't thought such evil in ages. But it keeps floating around in my head. Get out! Get out, that's something a Yang would do, you're not one of them anymore Yoongi, you have to understand. But Yang runs in your blood, no matter how far you take yourself away from them, your roots will remain there. I battle with myself until my facial expressions have completely changed and now I bear a face of worry.

"Excuse me as well.", I look around and go to the kitchen.

The people have already put everything in to place. I look around for the knives. Taking one, I put it in to the folds of my clothes and creep upstairs.

Your POV

I sit there and for a second, I've literally gotten my mind made up. I know which chapter I want to carry on writing and which one I'd like to close. I think I'm at peace with myself finally but a blue glint catches my eye; the dice. It's like that dice is always tempting me. I take it and play around with it in the palm of my hand. Y/N don't you dare roll it. This is the happy life, far from all that darkness, this is what you want. But I long for my family and slightly for wealth and power and influence again. No Y/N, don't you dare. Not being able to contain myself, I rush to the balcony and throw the dice away as hard as I can. I hope I never see it again. I sense someone come in to my room and by the time I look back, their body heat is already around me. Yoongi looks at me with a vicious look in his eyes and something catches the sunlight, a knife in his hand.

"Y/N, I'm sorry. I love you but I hate you too.", he cries.

What does he mean? He would never. And then... all hell is let loose.
