There's a lot to say about chakras. Maybe you heard about them, maybe you didn't. Anyhow, I'll try to keep it simple for you to understand.

What are them? What is a chakra?

The chakra system holds your body's energy (or prana) and your actions can help keep it in balance.
This invisible healing energy, called prana, is a vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive.
The Sanskrit word chakra translates to wheel or disk.
Therefore, chakras are spinning energy vortexes in our body, invisible for the human eye, and they are located along the spine, from the tailbone up to the crown of the head.

There are 7 chakras:
(I'll start from the lower chakras)

Root chakra or Muladhara

Sacral Chakra or Swadhisthana

Solar Plexus Chakra or Manipura

Heart Chakra or Anahata

Throat Chakra or Vishuddha

Third Eye Chakra or Ajna

Crown Chakra or Sahasrara

What is kept in a Chakra?
